  1. At this stage, has anyone expected Moxley to lead his Block? I personally thought that Naito would at this point but that's really fun
  2. Good. Now, I'm gonna wait for the international TV deal announcement to really get excited. Having Tully & Shawn Spears making a rehash of Dusty getting his hand broken by the Horsemen would be such a nice angle. Having that featured on a Road to All Out would be fantastic and add even more drama for the Spears/Cody match at All Out.
  3. I'm gonna give you mad props for really turning that roster into something REALLY fun in a short amount of time. You've been doing great works to mold that territory exactly like you want it and you've done some great moves with rosters & angles to make Georgia Championship Wrestling a very compelling territory.
  4. Xavier was also particularly good in the Apollo vs Nakamura match. His genuine excitement added so much to the atmosphere of this match. Apollo looked really good tonight and I hope he's someone that Bischoff will keep an eye on during his transition process.
  5. I'm looking forward to who will be the Rougeaus' mystery partner. Obviously, my gut goes straight to the Lutte Internationale connection in thinking it's either Rick Martel or Dino Bravo but it could literally be anyone in the AWA.
  6. When I was a kid in Quebec, IIRC, we had: -WWF on TVA on Sunday mornings (they even aired Saturday Night's Main Event at the same time slot it would air on NBC) -The NWA would air on another local channel called TQS on Saturday nights - I believe it was Worldwide Wrestling but I can't be 100% sure.) -And Lutte Internationale was airing in syndication.
  7. David Sammartino is no laughing joke when you got someone like Giant Haystacks watching your back!
  8. Interesting that you brought up Andy Warhol here. This reminded me of what was announced up here to a lesser scale about the project from a notorious playwright named Robert Lepage here in Quebec called Le Diamant, where he's gonna have all sorts of plays performed there when it opens. Lepage also announced that there would also be wrestling in his venue (In occurrence, the 10th Anniversary show for NSPW on October 5, Shawn Spears from AEW is booked, and the Lucha Bros are also supposed to be booked as well), which raised a lot of eyebrows among the cultural community up here but Lepage explained that he attended an NSPW event last year and he was so engulfed within the atmosphere and also very enthused by the presentation and the emotions he felt while watching the show that he decided he had to have a wrestling event in Le Diamant. It's very interesting to me that artists, people who would more likely frown upon pro wrestling being perceived as an art, have a more favorable reaction to that point of view than actual pro wrestling fans.
  9. The most dangerous Roddy Piper is a vicious Roddy Piper!
  10. For NotJayTabb, let's go with this one to start.
  11. Someone should tell Al Madril that his nephew isn't very reliable! Lots of creative classic Southern style finishes to Rocket City Rumble and it was a great card. Certainly didn't expect Lars Anderson to win the TV title but it's gonna make things a lot more interesting!
  12. Who said that tournaments can only be for cash and titles? Love the concept of the Camaro being the grand prize for a tournament. You can get pretty creative with that as well!
  13. Very nice build you're giving Scott Hall here. Battle Royals are so effective for that! And the Super Bowl of Professional Wrestling should be fun!
  14. They might be ugly but they're freaking effective!
  15. Well, yeah, she's not shy about her support for NRA and Trump so that's not surprising.
  16. Aw yeah, Hot Rod is back and it doesn't look good for Buddy Rose!
  17. If that's the case, then why in the statement WWE released, did they say that Bischoff was to oversee creative for Smackdown? Sounds like another bullshit piece of reporting by Meltzer. And it's not like Meltzer and Bischoff like each other anyway.
  18. In Tully's case, if I understood AEW's press release, his position as "Executive Advisor" for Shawn Spears isn't a one-off. Which is great news. The longer Spears can be associated to Tully, the better it will be for him in the long run.
  19. So many layers behind that move. From the historic Dusty/Tully rivalry to Tully being linked to another Perfect 10. And is Tony Schiavone now full-time with AEW or is he freelancing?
  20. I know it's probably not your intent but the thought in my head of Black Bart wearing the infamous Killer Bee mask cracks me up. I can already imagine Bart backstage, pleading to not wear it. "I AIN'T WEARIN' NO DADGUM MASK!"
  21. As the tournament started, my money was on the Starrs to win it but Hector & Mando winning it warms my heart!
  22. Every time Buddy Rose is in dire straits of losing his championship, he always finds a way. That's what makes him the most dangerous man in AWA Pacific and one of the top heels in the entire AWA.

After security was able to pull off the Briscos, Eddie Graham came out and announced that tomorrow night in Orlando, pending a phone call with AWA Worldwide, Rocky Johnson will be defending his title against Jack Brisco in a Strap Match!!! 24. And even there, Heyman stressed many times in interviews since his appointment that changes would take mind. But from what we've seen so far, we can't say that Heyman hasn't been up to the task. Yes, there are some people from the "old regime" getting pushed but there are a couple of guys like Cedric Alexander getting more visibility and I can't be against that.
  25. I think we pretty much know who are the 2 possible winners. Although anyone else would be fun.
