  1. You're all set!
  2. Pretty solid trade for both promotions. Dusty will be huge in World Class.
  3. Just watched this match this afternoon. Easily now my favorite Dick Togo match ever. I just like the continuity in Togo's selling from beginning to the end. Togo struggling to hit that Pedigree everytime to set up his Senton Bomb because of the beating he's taking on the arm. I also like the analogy made with Jerry Lawler for Antonio Honda because it's really what it looked like during the match. The visual of Honda & Togo punching each other senseless towards the end was awesome. I can't recommend this match enough. One of the best puro matches I ever saw.
  4. I kinda dig the trio of Rod Price, Chris Candido and The Inferno. And pairing them up with Percy Pringle? Instant credibility!
  5. In that case, yes.
  6. I legit didn't expect Dick Slater to win the Continental title, neither was I expecting Nikita to beat Lawler for the title! An amazing night of action, kudos to you and congrats to the Midnight Express!
  7. LUTTE INTERNATIONALE NEWS -A massive weather storm in Ontario has forced Lutte management to cancel their events in London & Victoria during the weekend. Fortunately, the 3 teams taking part in the National Tag Team Championship tournament were able to leave and arrived in time to participate in the tournament. Both shows were rescheduled for March 4 in London & March 5 in Victoria. The rest of the schedule remains unchanged, which means that there will be a hectic schedule with the March 7 show in Bowmanville, March 8 in Chetwynd and March 9 in Collingwood. The March 4 event is still scheduled to be a live TV event with an NWA World Women's Championship title match being billed as the main event -NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rick Martel will have a busy month of March as he'll be working all around the National Wrestling Alliance and he only is scheduled to appear in 2 Lutte events this month: March 5 in Victoria and March 23 at the Hemlock Valley Resort. Rick is notably scheduled to wrestle a couple of matches for the UWF, presumably to resume his current rivalry with Jerry "the King" Lawler and he also has dates lined up for WCCW and Mid-Atlantic, in addition to his monthly commitments in the AWA. There are also discussions taking place with promoter Shohei Baba to bring Rick Martel to Japan to defend the NWA World Heavyweight Championship during the spring. -NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Champion Jacques Rougeau isn't also scheduled to appear in any Lutte events but one (Victoria on March 5) during the month of March. While it was originally thought he would take the month off to heal nagging injuries - which is the case - , he still has committed himself to go defend the title around the NWA as well. No dates have been announced yet but he could be on his way to Dallas for a couple of days. -With their 2 major singles champions being away for the month, this means that the Canadian International TV Championship will take center stage and a lot of the spotlight will be on Adrian Adonis during the month of March. The reactions have been extremely positive so far with the Adonis/Paul E Dangerously duo and they will be heavily featured in the next couple of weeks. In fact, expect some interesting turn of events for Adonis in 1986. -Don't expect Terry Gordy to drop the National Heavyweight Championship anytime soon as Frank Valois wants the title to be as prestigious as possible and he wants the title change to be a big deal when it happens. Gordy and the Freebirds will still work with Lutte in the month of March as well. -Finally, the TV shows in March will feature Mid-Atlantic Showcase matches and among the names confirmed: David Sammartino, Tony St. Clair, The Nightmares & Mark Youngblood.
  8. Lutte releases Bob Sweetan. For whoever picks him up, keep in mind that he's injured until April.
  9. Yeah, Rougeaus vs Harts always gives any town their money's worth. Pretty easy go-to main event when you wanna steal the house
  10. February 28th, 1986 Ottawa, ON -NWA World Light Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit & Satanico beat Los Infernales in 18:38 -Donna Day beat Sherri Martel in 13:22 -Chris Candido & Jos LeDuc beat The Devil's Duo in 17:44 NWA Canadian International TV Championship: Adrian Adonis (w/Paul E. Dangerously & The Nasty Boys) beat Richard Charland (w/Frenchy Martin) in 2:23 after the Nasties attacked Charland during his entrance! Lumberjack Match: Gilles "The Fish" Poisson beat NWA Canadian International Tag Team Champion Mad Dog Vachon 6-Men Tag Team Match: The Rougeau Brothers beat The Hart Brothers in 54:51
  11. Interesting to see Greg Gagne putting Bam Bam Bigelow over but I think it's the right thing to do. Bam Bam can be such a monster on any roster
  12. Some rumors popped up a few hours ago that Cena would be facing Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania. Just putting it out there.
  13. You're good to go!
  14. This is the thread to book the freelancers for the month of April 1986 Abdullah the Butcher: April 4 & 6 (Lutte), April 19 (WWC) Bruiser Brody: April 4 (JWA), April 14 (UWF) Stan Hansen: April 12 & 20 (MACW), April 4 (JWA), April 14 (UWF) Mil Mascaras: April 19 (MACW), April 20 (Lutte) April 11,14,18, 25 & 27 (UWF) Minis Women: April 18 & 19 (Lutte) Antonio Inoki: April 19 (MACW) Akira Maeda:
  15. I'm gonna jump back in next week by the way
  16. Tenryu/Hara vs Leon White & Ron Simmons will be so hard hitting! Can't wait!
  17. A Texas Death Match between the Dream & Ken Patera? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
  18. Ronda definitely looked better than last night at Elimination Chamber. Perhaps it was the nerves that got to her last night and that she was just overwhelmed with the whole thing with finally realizing her dream of being in WWE. I legit was expecting someone to come out of the limo. They teased us before the last commercial break and nothing....If it were Triple H & Stephanie inside, couldn't they just have shown them getting out of the limo and walk inside the arena for the final segment? Stuff like that irritates me.
  19. I don't think Tonga would hesitate to show up in a UWF ring to challenge Jim Duggan....
  20. How things can go the way of Larry Z in the past 2 shows. He's probably loving every minute of Bockwinkel no longer being a champion and him getting all the spotlight.
  21. This is one of the "HOLY SHIT" moments that I didn't see coming. HUGE win for Dan Spivey. And I'm already salivating at the idea of seeing Bam Bam vs Leon White in the near future!
  22. No problem. We got your back, take your time to settle in.
  23. I laughed way more than I should've to this post. But please don't tell Haku. I got nephews & nieces that I wanna see grow up.
  24. That's the beauty of Eric Embry's character. He acts so silly that it's hard to imagine that he could actually be friends with the real Leatherface. But man, all hell broke loose in Houston. Lots of controversy and it's gonna make for some awesome TV!
  25. Yeah, my booking philosophy is that it would pretty much be a tug of war between every possible faction to get top billings in the NWA, no matter where they go and I think that this is the best way for me to get full advantage of our partnership in the National Wrestling Alliance. Plus, it's fun to plant seeds here and there and allow the other bookers a possibility to follow up on them or just, place another brick on the wall for another booker to continue afterwards. It's a big teamwork in the broadest sense of the term.
