  1. I'm assuming we'll get a Cody vs Brodie rematch down the road but the way everything is developing between Brodie and Colt Cabana, it makes me wonder now if they won't have Colt actually beat Brodie for the TNT title, with some little help from a Nightmare family.
  2. You got a lot of intriguing matchups on that show and some old school vs new school mixups as well. Outsiders vs Twin Towers should be a great tag feud IMO!
  3. When I discovered & started following the indies, this is one of the rivalries that I heard the most about. Mostly contained in the Cleveland indy scene, I saw them pop up in various bigger indies and it made me eager to know more about that rivalry. This is the thread to discuss everything MDogg 20 vs Josh Prohibition!
  4. Can you really call a genius somebody who gets fooled twice in a row with a freaking lunchbox? The Miz & John Morrison have been booked like the total doofuses they were in WWECW back in the day and it's baffling to me that it's the only thing they can find for Morrison right now.
  5. Hell, Bray will need somebody to keep an eye on The Big Do....Tribal Chief's Special Counsel!
  6. Keep in mind that there's a bit of a delay between my shows and RAGE right now.

    U-COSMOS

I'm absolutely down with an eventual Sasaki/Nagata matchup in the tournament!
  8. I'll say this; Alexa's Sister Abigail on Nikki Cross was a thing of beauty. She hit it even better than Bray usually does.
  9. CAN-AM PRO LIVE AT HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM August 12th, Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City To be distributed on VHS & DVD The show starts with a backstage promo from Mikey Whipwreck, discussing his match with "The Franchise" Shane Douglas tonight. Everyone is talking about the rumored battle royal to crown the Can-Am Pro Heavyweight Champion 1 week from today in Melbourne, ON and while everyone is sharing their theories about the favorites and everything, Mikey Whipwreck isn't considered one of them and this is something that he hates. But this isn't something different that he hasn't seen before. Despite being an ECW Triple Crown champion back in the day, it's still the same old song and dance. Tonight, he intends on making things different and have the fans at Hammerstein remember who Mikey Whipwreck is and he's gonna do that at the expense of Shane Douglas. We see another vignette with Ulf Hermann being in discussion with Ted Dibiase, possibly a financial deal or something. Ulf has been informed that he has to wrestle Carl Ouellet tonight but Hermann isn't interested in that and Ted Dibiase is paying him a big amount of money for another job. Dibiase and Hermann are interrupted by Can-Am Pro Commissioner "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, reminding Ulf that he doesn't work for Dibiase but for Can-Am Pro. Whether he likes it or not, the German Mercenary will be wrestling Carl Ouellet tonight and Armstrong warns Dibiase that he won't let him try to bribe or buy his way into anything in Can-Am Pro. -The Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow & Chris Candido) beat Badd Company in 13:34 after Candido pinned Tanaka with the Blonde Bombshell. -The Sandman wins his Can-Am Pro debut by beating Joey Matthews with the White Russian Leg Sweep in 9:58 -Masato Tanaka & Kamala (w/Kimchee) beat Dr. Wagner Jr & Bruce Hart in 14:17 after Kamala pinned Bruce VHS/DVD exclusive: A video montage of Erik Watts & Simply Luscious talking about how they're about to rock the world of everyone in Can-Am Pro. They'll be the talk of the town, soon enough VHS/DVD exclusive: Special video montage of Steve Corino to promote his match with Octagon later in the show -Carl Ouellet beat Ulf Hermann in 16:21 with the Cannonball. Ouellet seemed to have suffered an undisclosed neck injury after an awkward landing on the Cannonball but was able to walk to the back on his own -Special guest Steve Corino beat Octagon in 13:14 with the Old School Expulsion A special promo from Mike Awesome from the London event is shown and Awesome warns Rhino and Stephanie McMahon that they better be careful because there isn't a place in the world that is safe enough for them to hide. Awesome is committed to his team with Mohammed Yone as they just proved that they're the best tag team in the world. Nobody can touch them and they'll take on all comers. -"The Franchise" Shane Douglas beat Mikey Whipwreck with the Belly-to-Belly Suplex in 10:37 -In the main event, Hayabusa beat Crash Holly in 9:49 with the Falcon Arrow
  10. How dare you disparage the good name of Puf and call him a jobber?
  11. Man, same age as my dad. Loved those video packages with that unique voice.
  12. I could take Dustin Rhodes and Brodie Lee wrestle each other more often.
  13. Kane remaining a threat to Vince McMahon in a big way. Interesting choice to have Albert in that position but I think you can make it work!
  14. Every promotion has had its marquee legendary rivalry. WWF had Hogan vs Andre. WCW/NWA had Ric Flair vs Dusty Rhodes. For the AWA, that distinction belongs to Verne Gagne vs Nick Bockwinkel, arguably the promotion's most important World Champions of its existence. This is the topic to discuss everything Verne Gagne vs Nick Bockwinkel!
  15. Definitely looking forward to Kobashi vs Triple H. Talk about an unexpected dream match!
  16. So, basically, you're saying that it wasn't a ref screw up (it was clearly obvious that Ricochet had kicked out at 2) but they stopped the match to take care of Ivar. In hindsight, an excellent decision considering it's a cervical injury. Is it me or did it seem like Ivar jammed his head on either Lashley or MVP while doing that topé?

    AEW All Out 2020

I don't necessarily know if we can actually use the Fandango comparison with Orange Cassidy here. Let's remember that when Jericho put him over at Wrestlemania 29, that was Fandango's debut. The only thing we had to judge by before that was the vignettes and nothing really substantial in terms of in-ring. In Cassidy's case, he's proven to be very over with the AEW core audience and while I agree that Cassidy shouldn't be in the main event picture in any way, shape or form, he's still proven to be a great commodity for AEW and has shown his worth during that summer-long program with Jericho. The question now becomes where do you slot Cassidy next that will make him look equally as good as he did against Jericho?

    AEW All Out 2020

A couple of years ago, I passed out in my bathroom and banged my head on the garbage bin. I puked my guts out on the way to the hospital in the ambulance and while no doctor formally told me I had one, I'm fairly confident that I did have a concussion and I'm sure that the violence of the impact of my head was nowhere near Matt's bump last night. So, I'm also very skeptical about this myself.

Isn't Hero not working shows now because of the pandemic? I thought I had read that not too long ago.

    AEW All Out 2020

That's a blunder that will probably haunt AEW for a while.
  21. I was watching Mike Rome's stream yesterday and basically, he said the only thing that changes is that they can't use WWE likeness to do so. Zelina Vega seemingly said the same thing about her stream too. So, at the end of the day, this might be passing as another one of Vince's "phases" or something.
  22. If I'm being nitpicky, while the Bayley-Banks beatdown was excellent, man, this one went too long to my taste. I would've had Bayley destroy Sasha's knee and then go with the chair around the neck move and that would've been it. I don't know if they were trying to fill time or something but I truly think the segment would've been even better if it had been shortened.
  23. Conrad Thompson pretty much confirmed that in a tweet shortly before Smackdown; this doesn't affect Something to Wrestle in any whatsoever
  24. Even there, CM Punk brought up a good point on Twitter; if the majority of talents doesn't comply with his edict, what will Vince do - fire them all? Maybe they should keep going with what they're doing right now and let Vince embarrass himself with bad PR once more.
  25. That's the only thing to me that would make sense with Vince's decision. They need extremely badly to have that younger demo and platforms like Cameo & Twitch can provide that to WWE. Just taking away the opportunity for fans to connect with your talent just for the sake of doing so because you don't get any money out of it is totally counterproductive. I would hope that someone like Roman could talk some sense into Vince but I'm not wasting my breath. However, it seems like Paige has already made it clear that she won't follow suit with Vince's request and keep her Twitch channel open.
