I'd love Sonya to almost pull the victory, or even to have some shoot style shit with Ronda.

Look, Cody is doing his crazy ass schtick and he's a B-Miz with dashes of Riddler, which is good. But you really cannot say he was busting his ass in WWE, or that he was fucked like Roman for the last years or so. He still had his cute ass lil' indie list of people who he could go over clean (making ZSJ tap lol) while having mediocre shit. He's more of a guy that was lost in the turmoil than someone who had the spotlight on him during every single crazy ass brooking decision.

They fucked up their biggest name in a while. When you see any dopey smark complaining about how WWE treated someone like Austin Aries or even Cody Rhodes, point at Roman's direction and whisper "that's what it looks like when they fuck you up". Unless they pull some miracle booking, he is fucked.

[2018-04-08-WWE-Wrestlemania XXXIV] Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
KawadaSmile replied to cactus's topic in April 2018
This was BALLS. Fuck, it pains me to say that shit, but this was not good. It HAD good moments, like Roman going berserk, and horrific table bumps. But my God, this failed on every other level. Brock flat out tanked this shit, and him only doing F5 after F5 did the match zero favors. But even worse in a vacuum, this was dreaful on a booking standpoint. If that Triple H/Booker feud wasn't about racism winning, this would've been the worst booked Wrestlemania match ever. You spend the last seven or so weeks saying that Brock is a part time fucker, had no respect for the business, and that Roman is there every single time. He is clearly in the right, liking him or not. Brock appears. Lays out Roman three weeks in a row. The go home show ends with Brock triumphant and Reigns down on the mat. Clearly this indicates he is finally getting his win over the monster, right? WRONG. Fuck this. They killed off one of their biggest names for fuck all reason. I have no idea what you do with Roman at this point, but he seems ruined. -
This thread aged well.

i think this pretty much sums up how fucked up roman's booking was throughout the main events he's got https://twitter.com/bruiserbrady/status/983192434262855682 it kinda sounds like they are forced to put him last because any goodwill the crowd would have would be gone and it would hurt any other matches that would take after it

Ronda is possibly in their Top 3 biggest stars with this performance here. If she manages to keep that up, she'll have a wonderful run. This match was insanely fun, where even 500 year old tortoise Angle delivered.

This was great, what the fuck are you guys saying. If you expected an epic match, the joke's on you. The story of Cena wanting Taker to the point of looking pathetic - he's basically forcing Taker out of retirement just so he can have a payday - and getting the shit kicked out of him is something unexpected and honestly, it was quite fun.

I didn't like this match as much as you did, but it was still very satisfying and enjoyable. Shane's early fire and selling were pretty damn good, but once the heels started getting their heat on, things were... not as good. KO just doesn't do it for me, as he seems unable to garner any type of heat in a convincing fashion. Daniel Bryan is obviously the star in this, and it's a magical moment from the hot tag onwards. It's like he never had to leave.

The hand-picked golden boy who carried the build to this match while looking like a fool for a straight month, looks like a massive, massive chump in this match. Seriously, guys. This "Roman is the golden boy/shoved down our throats" narrative is downright lunacy at this point. Open your eyes. Look at what just went down.

I don't understand why two guys who had one of the best WM main events ever wouldn't produce another good match! Because that was 3 years ago and one of them has seen a severe decline in the quality of their work. Lesnar didn't magically forget how to wrestle, like a Pokemon that has to forget a move once he knows 4. The feud against Goldberg was booked to perfection, he delivered at Summerslam 2016, he delivered against AJ Styles - and not in a "he was carried!" type of delivery. Hell, even at the Rumble this year he brought some effort, in spite of being completely gassed. However, much like in the match against Braun, he couldn't give a flying fuck, and that's the biggest problem with him. They really could've done a way better match than what happened here. You can't tango if one of the people involved sandbags it.

Easily tops WM32 in the "what the fuck is going on?" department. However, it was miles better.

According to people at the stadium, Roman is fucked up for real (as if you couldn't tell since he took shoot elbows to the dome) and people are giving him shit. Cunts.
-
The worst part of all that shit is that bloodied, savage Roman actually got people paying attention into the fucking match, but it lasted less than a minute. I hope that actually leads into something. On another note, rumours of Lashley vs Brock main eventing Summerslam.
-
Would've saved us from 8 months of a terrible Rollins reign and consequently his knee would be intact, Reigns would probably be the guy they wanted him to bbecause he would've been way more protected, Lesnar would've been gone.
-
I actually like this one a lot. However, main event was BALLS and the booking was idiotic. It could've been the best WM of all with ease, but hey, gotta book Asuka to praise the almighty Chhharlotte after tapping out on the first submission attempt. Gotta make Brock have 90% of the match, bloody Roman for no reason, and then win with no pomp and circumstance. So many great moments, and we leave in the lowpoint. Fuck.
-
Look, fuck this. Brock either sandbagged the shit out of this match, or he gassed out 3 minutes in. The match itself was bad. Cut at least 5 minutes of it, go straight to Roman being bloody, and you get something. I am really dissapointed mostly because Roman is going to endure tons of shit, undeservedly so, for another entire year.

Imagine paying for Wrestlemania and pay attention to literally anything else.
-
Oh hey, this already has more heat than AJ/Nakamura
-
Brock with the beanie is always a nice sign. Shit's going down.

You know that someone somewhere is saying... ...for fuck sake dude

This is some 80s WWF shit and I'm loving it.
