  1. I think that Jordan is not a heel in the sense that he is a villain, but you are not meant to like him at all. Whiny, has to resort to his dad all the time, full of himself... not very face-like.
  2. RAW was actually pretty damn good yesterday. The top two matches delivered (specially the main event, it's an angle with soooo much potential) Looking forward to SD. Hope they don't just coast it.
  3. Chris Masters always seemed like an underrated wrestler, specially from 2010 onwards
  4. Happy Holidays, fellas. This board here brought me so much information, I am very grateful about the wrestlers I got to know through here, and also by the usually level-headed discussion we get over here. Enjoy, everyone!
  5. I've seen some overlapping of fans that take their time to shit on WWE (specially on Roman Reigns) while also harassing fans online and YB fans. Mind you, I am aware that there are toxic people everywhere, in every fandom. Not saying otherwise. However I am saying that YB can generate toxic behavior due to their antics, mostly between fans that think they are "in" on their whole thing.
  6. They are smart in terms of making money, I don't think anyone can dispute that. However, I find it somewhat curious that, while they are kind of self aware in their schtick, at the same time they take themselves very, very seriously, and engage in twitter beefs rather constantly, like their form of pro wrestling is sacred. I don't care for their matches, if people like them - and I see why they do - that's good, but I kinda see them generating a toxic fanbase due to their manchild tendencies on twitter.
  7. This week's SD was surprisingly uneventful. When are they going to capitalize on a big Rusev push?
  8. I felt sad, tbh. Even more considering how he slipped when doing a kick like seconds afterward. Thank goodness he has one of the best finishers to keep him somewhat over.
  9. Penultimate week of the year. Let's see what sort of bombastic things they give us to start the road to the Rumble.
  10. Co-signing what Boss said about Mojo. Loved him as a face, but he completely blew me away as a heel. He is going to be one of the company's best acts by 2019.
  11. Fair play to Jinder, he worked soooo fucking hard in this match, be it by the story, working on the midsection, be it by trying new things. Of course AJ Styles is the guy to make you look good, but it's not like Jinder wasn't giving his all. Very enjoyable match by one of the all time greats, and someone that had something to prove.
  12. We say that every other show and it usually turns out good. The only thing that looks outright bad is the three-way, and Nattie-Charlotte will probably be boring, but the rest looks promising. That's what I was thinking about. Usually on-paper bad cards turn out to be good, but we never know. Hyped for heel Mojo
  13. Is this the least interesting, least hyped card they've put together in a while? Pre-Show: Mojo Rawley vs Zack Ryder Breezango vs Bludgeon Brothers Lumberjack Match: Natalya vs Charlotte © Usos © vs Rusev/English vs Gable/Benjamin vs New Dat Baron Corbin © vs Dolph Ziggler vs Bobby Roode AJ Styles © vs Jinder Mahal Nakamura/Orton vs Sami Zayn/KO w/ Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan as guest referees.
  14. It seems that the gif got quite infamous. UFC fighters Daniel Cormier and Chase Sherman also gave it some shit, without @ the Bucks.
  15. To be fair, one would expect a professional wrestler to take criticisms - even more when they are actually valid and not just some dude trolling - in stride, and not throwing a fit. But alas, 'tis the Young Bucks.
  16. Following this little gif here, there was this exchange: Some lovely stuff
  17. I don't think anyone has had a better YEAR than Roman Reigns - at least not from the companies I've followed through most of 2017. While someone like say, Naito or Okada, might have had the best match of the year, few, if any, have been as consistent as Roman throughout those 12 months. PPVs, TV matches, singles, tags, gimmick stuff, he's good in every single one of those categories, against pretty much every single one of his opponents. He's been delivering consistently since at least Summerslam 2014. Dude's just great.
  18. Kaepernick, the real mastermind.
  19. Not unfair, really. The whole JeriKO -> New Face of America -> KO/Zayn storylines were a drag. The highlight of KO's last two years was the Festival of Friendship segment, and that's it. how did you feel about the Vince headbutting segment? Vince as usual brings out entertaining stuff. However, unlike when he was involved in the feud vs Roman, I didn't feel that KO got time to shine as much.

  21. Great showing by Jordan, and a great story about the spoiled brat being taught a lesson by a more experienced wrestler. What I love one those IC matches is that Roman is just finding different stuff to do according to the match and it enhances so much the experience. Jordan has a bad knee going to the match, and it's amazing how a single leg crab managed to get people on their toes. Great selling by both, specially by JJ.
  22. Somehow the entire quote is even worse. Jesus.
  23. On the subject of Elgin: https://twitter.com/EponymousKid/status/940588556858380288
  24. Superb match. Those two had a great singles match prior to Survivor Series '15, and this one managed to surpass that. Cesaro as a heel is much more intense and ruthless, and combined with Roman's usually great selling, makes for a very strong showing for both parts. Loved Reigns using stuff like Magistral Cradles because he couldn't rely as much on his power moves due to the arm work, or how that 1st Superman Punch looked not as effective. Roman is one of the most consistent workers WWE has seen in a while.
  25. What?! What the hell are you talking about? This Woken Matt Hardy stuff is gold. Gold, Jerry. Gold! I think him working against Wyatt is perfect, since it was obvious that somebody on the WWE writing staff was blatantly stealing stuff from the Broken Universe with the Wyatt Compound and the whole Wyatt/Orton feud. (In order to cover up the fact that it was a rip-off, they cleverly disguised their thievery by, you know...taking out the parts that were entertaining and good. But still.) I saw a rumor online today that this is leading to a fight between Bray and Matt at the Wyatt compound. Can you imagine what that will look like if Matt gets that kind of backdrop for his goofy antics. We may well see another dilapidated boat. Maybe it's my utter disdain for Wyatt, maybe it's the months of not watching the product, but that did not appeal to me at all. What made the whole Broken Matt saga work for me is the B-movie charm, which is not something I believe WWE can pull off, considering how well produced their segments are, at least in comparison to TNA stuff. But let's see, maybe I just did not paid enough attention. Also, marked out at Romand doing a fucking Magistral cradle. 3 years in a row of being the absolute best performer in the company.
