  1. Hahaha, I actually enjoy him a lot, for real. Don't think he is any wrestling genius, but he's entertaining as fuck. Precisely. He's a fun guy and actually a pretty decent guy in the ring.
  2. Mojo is the motherfucking man. Have high hopes for him, really.
  3. Neville killed Aries with that german suplex. Must be AWFUL to take that shit.
  4. Kawada embracing Hustle's silly side is amazing, my brother.

    WWE TV 3/27 - 4/2

Am I missing something? I get WM32 being one coronation, but what are the other two? The Rumble win and?
  6. I'm more curious than excited. However, I don't think Wrestlemania has ever been a straight wrestling PPV. There always were some sort of celebrity involvement to varying degrees - the main event to the very first WM involved an actor. It's always about entertainment in a more general sense - live performances, outlandish entrances, backstage skits, etc - something that can captivate not only the wrestling fan, but a broader audience as well. So in that sense, I think it can do a very good job, if not great. I am expecting all the matches to deliver - with the exception of the Raw Tag Team match because I dislike 2/3 of the people involved - and quite honestly, the build to most of the matches have been very good. Imagine if you were to split this year's WM into two PPVs: one with the RAW matches, and the other one with the SD matches. People would probably be more welcoming to those events, which would make me think that the lenght is usually a problem for them (teehee).

    NXT talk

What kept NXT a good TV show during the time frame Balor was champion (and we can extend that to his debut, actually) was the women's division and tag division. Finn Balor is quite honestly one of the worst champions NXT has seen and he fucking tanked that show afterwards. His feuds with KO and Joe produced almost zero GREAT matches. The one were Joe was busted open in the first few moments was the only one that makes for a compelling watch, and that was not even intentional.

    Mauro and JBL

It seems JBL had a rant about Mauro acknowleding his WON Best Announcer award at an episode of Bring it to the Table, too. However, as much as I don't really appreciate Mauro's work as a play-by-play guy (he's got a nice voice to me, but his relentless pop culture referencing are really annoying) and enjoy JBL's work since the brand split, both guys just have clashing personalities and Mauro's personal issues sure aggravate the matter, and I hope for Ranallo's sake that this doesn't mean the end for him in WWE. He has his performance issues but he's clearly enjoying a lot being there.

If you MUST have a competitive match between those two, make it so the two exchange bombs from the start with little downtime. I don't want Taker to have anything over 12 minutes and I don't think he himself wants that.
  10. Any of his matches against Sheamus are worth checking out, really. Reigns vs Balor was also a pretty damn good match, that not only was one of Finn's best showings in the company, but also solidified him as a star, IMO. Reigns was so good there.

    NXT talk

I guess he could fit in the purple rope league? Can see him having a blast of a match against the likes of Neville, really.
  12. TNA managing to outlast ROH - if they are indeed bought, and not just their library - would be amazing.
  13. People complaining that Tyler Breeze, someone who had the same role as Tye Dillinger in NXT - a jobber - is getting buried in the main roster sure is something else.
  14. They had the squashes alright, but they had absolute zero character development. Contrast them with the Usos - while always a very solid hand in the ring, crowds couldn't give a fuck about them since who knows when. Come the brand split, they have a heel turn and most importantly, time to develop their character and truly shine. Some of their promos in the past few weeks have show how above AA they are in that department. AA are very good in the ring, but they sure as fuck aren't as over as Heath Slater, for instance.
  15. Main event aside, I found it very interesting that they actually gave Sami Zayn promo time with Stephanie McMahon. To me it's pretty clear they have something big planned for him down the line, and I find it very weird that some say that they bury him, or that the company hates him.
  16. Gallows and Anderson looked really more comfortable there than with the material they've been given in Raw.
  17. Roman vs Brock was the best Wrestlemania main event in a long, long time, and one of their best matches ever. I am fucking HYPED for that.
  18. If the build to Rollins/Hunter is going in the same way as Reigns/HHH, then by God, imagine how fucking awful their match is going to be.

    From this week's WON:
  20. Roman pretty much saying that HBK should back the fuck up with his pep talk because he lost TWICE to Taker and got his ass retired was so good.
  21. I can barely say he's the 3rd best Rhodes when we factor Brandi into the list.
  22. Rock/Hogan has to be seen with promo package and all. The hype video going straight to Hogan's nWo entrance is smooth and fucking amazing. The crowd inverting the heel/face dynamics for this single match and both performers playing into it on the spot was also very, very good. However, my personal favorite is Roman/Lesnar. It was the match that turned Reigns around for me, and made me look deeper into his body of work, while at the same time being eager for the matches he would have down the road. As for Lesnar, he managed to play this juggernaut and he fucking made that hope spot work so damn well, with drool coming out of his mouth and being instantly bloodied. Amazing shit.

It was around the build to this year's Rumble if I am not mistaken

Braun did something similar against Brock. He is not just some mindless brute, he knows when it is the best time to attack.
  25. While that is partially true - his match against Regal still is one of the best NXT matches - he was working against people of the caliber of Percy Watson and Derrick Bateman. There was nothing really bad per se, but rarely he had a partner that could make something big with him. As good as he is, there is a limit of what you can do in that specific setting against that sort of opponent. At that time, NXT was way, way different than what it is right now, and probably Hero would be a much better fit now, with a better and more experienced roster.
