The Medusa era of the TV Title begins by putting down a spirited Lady Apache- and then continuing to bitch at her allies. Not sure that's the best long-term strategy but that's just me. Speaking of the TV Title, Selina Majors could be a fun challenger. Combs gets the psychological edge against Moretti with that pin. But Moretti knows she can hold Combs down for 3. Really looking forward to another match between these two. Great job maintaining the momentum from the Supercard.

The Spoiler may find himself in a title match soon if he keeps this up. The Rich cousins better buy that "intern" a beer. Maybe if they ask nicely he'll let'em know who he is. The Highwaymen & The Hangmen end their first match in utter chaos. Dark Journey slips up once & costs Regal the US Jr Heavyweight Championship. Couple strong wins for I.H.o.H DWBs as faces? Against Humperdink it might work. Budro is Continental Champion in his first match back! I'm sure that thing with Cooley was just a misunderstanding. Buddy was just caught up in the moment. Montgomery got their moneys worth.

A couple of hard-hitting title matches round out a memorable episode of Georgia Championship Wrestling. GCW just got Magnificent!
-
Excellent episode of MACW really hypes up the card in Greensboro. 30 minutes of Tito/Valentine? Yes please. MACW vs Georgia 10 man tag! And what a lineup on each side. Two big World Title matches for Greensboro. Slaughter looking a bit yellow letting Kernodle fight his battles. Hart & Piper make a intriguing team.
-
First Portland. Nail-biting win for the Brigade over Los Guerreros. Lucky for Masked Avenger Black Gold may not like him but they like Burke enough join in. The Odd Couple seriously move up the ranks with a win over the Vice Squad. Adams is getting closer and closer to the TV Title. Gilbert & Muta can barely be contained by their own allies. Hart Foundation cost Badd Company big time. Not sure what Dusty Rhodes is doing in Portland but he got there in time for a crazy main event. On to Eugene Candido racks up another successful defense. The Brigade & The Crazy Gang break even in 2 hard-hitting tag matches. Buis out-powers Big V. Badd Company returns the favor. I doubt the Snowbirds are to happy for them though. Pillman gains a edge in his feud with Orton thanks to Owen. "Mr Hollywood" survives a game Steamboat.

Duk & Tojo shrugged & left as Sullivan continued the assault until Al Perez ran down to help. This brought out Jason which lead to... Jason the Terrible w/"Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan defeats "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez with the Northern Lights Bomb after a shot with the Golden Spike from Sullivan behind the referee's back Intermission, limited tickets for next week's event sold The Fort Bragg Brotherhood defeat The Super Destroyers when the Super Ds tried a double back body drop on Kernodle he countered with a inside cradle on SD#1. SD#2 tried to hold onto his partners hand but was tackled by Kirchner allowing Kernodle to get the pin One Man Gang w/"General" Skandar Akbar defeats "Dirty" Dutch Mantell with the 747. Akbar instructed OMG to continue the attack after the bell & the big man didn't need to be told twice. He pounded on Mantell for a bit & seemed to be going for a second 747 until KENDALL WINDHAM ran down with a chair! A few stiff shots rocked the man mountain & a lariat sent him over the top rope to the delight of the crowd & the fury of Akbar. Amarillo Street Fight Chicky Starr defeats Jimmy Jack Funk after Kendo Nagasaki came down & sprayed mist into Funk's eyes allowing Starr to hit a piledriver on a chair. JJ'S "cousins" ran out to get ahold of Nagasaki which brought out Jumbo & Pogo which brought out Slater which lead to... The Funk Brothers & "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs Zaibatsu (Western States Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta,Kendo Nagasaki & Mr Pogo) w/Tojo Yamamoto went to a 45 minute time limit draw. Slater made a point of going after Jumbo whenever he could. The men kept brawling after the bell requiring security & even a few wrestlers to break up.

The masked duo show their continuity ahead of their meeting with Larry Z & his mystery partner. Couple of nice wins for the Ace & the Wrecking Machine. I love the visual of Flowers jawing with the fans only to turn around & get ko'd. Wahoo gets his revenge in the Strap match. Henning & Adias bolt like proper chickenshit heels. Between Dundee costing Lawler the National Title & Ox & Hayes leaving Steamboat laying then posing with the title, it's not surprising you damn near had a riot. Wild night in Milwaukee!

Western States Wrestling Episode 13 From the KFDA-TV Studio in Amarillo Texas Airing live at Noon on WTBS Channel 17 August 1 1986 The usual opening montage of Western States action set to "Into the fire" by Dokken opens the show ending on a shot of WSW Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta. We cut to Steve Stack standing in front of a joint WSW and NWA banner. Stack: Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting episode of Western States Wrestling at High Noon sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance, the premier governing body of professional wrestling the world over. We have a incredible show ahead of us today. "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez will be here as will The Devil's Duo who of course will be accompanied by their manager Slick. Chicky Starr takes on The Lone Wolf. And in our massive main event, making his television debut "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater *Huge pop* will go one with "Killer" Tim Brooks with Skandar Akbar in his corner. Also later I'll have a major announcement about future plans of WSW and the NWA. But before all that let's get down to ring for our first match and another television debut, "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi! Match 1 "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi w/Cocoa Samoa defeats The Midnight Stalker (Tyree Pride in a mask) with a jumping headbutt The SPC makes their way to the interview area. Stack: Very impressive. Siva Afi for the fans at home who don't know you what brings you to Western States & what's your relationship with Cocoa Samoa? Siva: Well first of all Steve Stack I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome I've received so far and as for your questions they essentially have the same answer. Ya see before the AWA excisted in its current form it was the USWA & it was in the USWA that I met Cocoa Samoa & through our shared culture & views on professional wrestling we came together as a tag team, The South Pacific Connection. We went to war together many times and while we didn't always win we always had each other's backs. We kept touch after Cocoa decided to pursue opportunities elsewhere and the day he signed with Western States he called me to celebrate. But as I'm tuning it to watch he does what do I see? Him & his friends in the Tribal Nation being assaulted by a band of lunatics calling themselves Dungeon of Doom *Boos* well when the time came to part ways with the AWA i knew excactly where I was needed. I packed my bags caught the first plane to Texas and signed on the dotted line. The South Pacific Connection is back & i intend to aide my brother Cocoa & his friends against anyone who thinks they can mess with'em! Stack: Well Cocoa it's a great time to have some backup because after weeks of waiting next week you get your shot, you one-on-one with Shaska Whatley for the Western States Television Championship. Cocoa: That's right Steve and I know that dancing clown Slick will be there to help his man like he does every match but with my brother Siva, The Tribal Nation & these fans behind me i will become the next Western States Television Champion! The SPC leave to a rousing ovation. Commercial break-Steve Stack runs down the Western States live events for this coming week We return to Steve Stack joined by The Devil's Duo & Slick. Stack: Welcome back fans as you can see I'm being joined by Slick & his team the Devil's Duo. Slick it seems your "main man" Shaska Whatley has quite the challenge in store for him next week. Slick: Ow come off it Stack-a-lack. Do you or any of these whisky swilling John Wayne wanna be's think that coconut eater who can't even figure out how to put on a pair of wrestling boots has a chance of beating the "Black Bullet" Nah-nah baby. Ya see the TV Title is just the beginning for Black Diamond Talent Agency, the best is yet to come & if for some unfamidable reason you doubt the Slickster watch what my boys do to these Jive fools in the ring Match 2 The Devil's Duo w/Slick defeat Skylar Odell & Terrell Samuel with the Devil's Bargin Commercial Stack: Ladies and gentlemen I mentioned earlier that I had a announcement regarding future plans for WSW and the NWA. First following the success of the Great American Bash the NWA Board of Directors alongside the various promoters have agreed to hold at least one more joint Supershow before the end of the year. The details are still being negotiated. But what can be said for certain is this, on Labor Day Monday September 6th Western States Wrestling will hold the Labor Day Spectacular. This event will take place at the Sports Arena here in Amarillo Texas and shall be broadcast on local affiliates throughout the Western States territory. In order to ensure the athletes are in fighting shape there will be no episode of WSW or Sports Arena show on Sunday September 5th. In order to ensure WSW's first solo Supershow is as great as it can possibly be Commissioner Dusek is currently negotiating to have all the major NWA World titles defended. Western States Wrestling is proud to work with our sister promotions in the National Wrestling Alliance and will continue to do so in order to present the best possible product not just for fans of WSW but for all NWA territories. I know that's a lot to take in folks so while we process it let's enjoy our next match. Match 3 "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez defeats Nathan Homewood with the bridging German Suplex Commercial We return to Steve Stack joined by Chicky Starr Stack: Folks my guest at this time is Chicky Starr and sir I'll be frank, I'm amazed you weren't suspended for your heinous action at the Great American Bash. What possessed you to stick a lit cigar into another man's eyes? Starr: Man's eye? Strange i meant to put it in Jimmy Jack Funk's eye. *Thunderous boos* I kid of course, it's quite simple really so much so that even a Funk could understand. That Cabron cost me the chance to become the first Western States Television Champion all I did was return the favor. I can't imagine why everyone's so upset it's not like anything of value was damaged after all. Just a Funk & lord knows wrestling doesn't need another of those running around. Starr heads to the ring to deafening boos. Match 4 Chicky Starr vs The Lone Wolf never got started as Wolf pounced on Starr as he was getting into the ring. He pounded on Starr before throwing him to the floor before standing center ring & tearing his mask off to reveal...JIMMY JACK FUNK! FUNK CLIMBS THE ROPES AND DIVES ONTO STARR ON THE FLOOR! SECURITY IS TRYING TO PULL FUNK OFF STARR AS THE FANS ARE GOING CRAZY! STARR USES THE TIME FUNK IS FIGHTING OFF SECURITY TO SCURRY TO THE BACK! Funk sprints to the interview area and grabs Stacks mic. JJ: CHICKY STARR YOU CAN RUN BOY BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE! I'VE TALKED IT OUT WITH COMMISSIONER DUSEK AND AT THE SPORTS ARENA TODAY IT'S YOU AND ME IN A AMARILLO STREET FIGHT! Funk slams the mic on the table and rushes to the back in hot pursuit. Stack: Frankly folks i'm not sure Chicky Starr will make it to the Sports Arena. Let's take our final commercial break to let things settle & when we come back it's the television debut of Dick Slater! Commercial break-Steve Stack runs down the card for the Sports Arena later today Rufus "Freight Train" Jones vs The Midnight Stalker Sunny War Cloud & The South Pacific Connection vs Black Diamond Talent Agency w/Slick "The Haitian Sensation" Tyree Pride vs "Wild Tiger" Kim Duk w/Tojo Yamamoto "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs Jason the Terrible w/"Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan The Fort Bragg Brotherhood vs The Super Destroyers One Man Gang w/"General" Skandar Akbar vs "Dirty" Dutch Mantell Amarillo Street Fight Jimmy Jack Funk vs Chicky Starr The Funk Brothers & "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs Zaibatsu (Western States Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta,Kendo Nagasaki & Mr Pogo) Bell time 3pm tickets still available Before the main event Skandar Akbar barges into the interview area and takes the mic Akbar: I just want all the Western States fans waiting to hear that corrupt, incompetent bootlicker Frank Dusek strip the Moondogs of the Western States Tag Team Titles & fire Kevin Sullivan than I've got great news for you. While I was paying a 10k fine I was unjustly levied I took the liberty of paying Sullivan's fine while I was at it. So don't worry folks you'll be watching Sullivan and the rest of Dungeon of Doom massacre your heroes for a long time to come. Hahaha Match 5 Main event "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater defeats "Killer" Tim Brooks w/"General " Skandar Akbar by dq when the rest of Devastation Inc stormed the ring & attacked Slater while he had Brooks in the Figure Four. A brief 3-1 beat down ensued until Dutch Mantell & The Long Riders arrived. The show goes off the air with all 8 men brawling while security try to separate them.

I'm glad Smirnoff is getting some attention. He was surprisingly enjoyable to write. They may look silly but your description has me considering searching YouTube for the Alaskan Hunters. Looks like Watts may be figuring out how to handle Ladd & the Shiek. Speaking of the Shiek he better start praying his Army can pull it out in Shreveport. What makes all this pretty boys think this is a good time to be coming after Jimmy & Precious? The Timekeeper is ready for another round with Black Bart. Roop vs Austin is heating up fast. The Masked Yankee- who could be anyone- is making quite the statement with these attacks. He really seems keen to get on Allen's (debateably existent) good side. Stacked card in Shreveport.
-
The IC title tournament rolls on with some winners i honestly didn't see coming and the promise of a exciting quarter finals. Bob Backlund & Pedro Morales would be the dream team of early 80's WWF. Iron Shiek really builds up steam ahead of his title match.
-
The Hangmen arrive & immediately make a statement. This gimmick screams CCW. Gordon's reaction to Woman & Man is awkwardly adorable. Blackjack i mean Mr Mulligan's explanation is perfect heel sense. The picture of him standing next to RPG is too ridiculous to not work. T&Z might want to be more assertive in the future. They kinda feel into the background in their own segment. Budro's back! The fans did it! Les wasn't kidding about "High Stakes" Monday could be a huge night for the Armstrongs. Buddy wins his first match back but Gordon isn't entirely convinced he can be trusted. Can't say i blame him but here's hoping!

Mid-South Wrestling is coming to you on Fox & its affiliates Fox 8 out of New Orleans & WXXV out of Jackson. 7/31-Sat-Mid-South Wrestling Television-Irish McNeil Boy's Club in Shreveport Louisiana (The Mid-South video slams on screen with quick clips of the top stars ending on a shot of Mid-South North American Champion The Grappler. We cut to Boyd Pierce standing by alongside...Floyd Creatchman?) BP: Welcome everyone to Mid-South Wrestling coming as always from the Irish McNeil Boy's Club in Shreveport Louisiana. I'm Boyd Pierce and standing beside me this week is the man who made his debut in Mid-South last week, "Pretty Boy" Floyd Creatchman. Floyd a pleasure to have you here. FC: The pleasure is most certainly yours Pierce. I said last week i was looking for the top talent in Mid-South & if I have to carry you on commentary for a couple of weeks to find them that's just the price I have to pay. BP: Well this should be fun. Let's head down to the ring for our first match & the in ring return of Dick Murdoch! FC: Ow boy just what's needed around here, another drunk redneck. (We cut to Reisor Bowden center ring) RB: Out opening contest is set for one fall with a 15 min time limit. In the red corner from the Gameroom weighing 220 lbs...Checkmate! And in the blue corner from Waxahachie Texas weighing 288 lbs..."Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch! Checkmate vs "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch A relatively quick showcasing for Murdoch who just pounds on the masked man before finishing it with his patented Brainbuster. BP: A impressive return for Dick Murdoch. He & Junkyard Dog are certainly among the favorites to win the Mid-South Tag Titles tournament on August 15th at the Superdome. Speaking of (Pierce trails off as Ernie Ladd & The Wild Samoans arrive) To what do we owe the pleasure Mr Ladd? EL: Boyd Pierce you better watch how you speak to the Big Cat or I'll shove this size 22 boot so far up your pasty white backside you'll be able to clean it & brush your teeth at the same time you understand me? (Pierce gulps & nods his head as Creatchman cracks up) Now my Samoans & i are not leaving until that big fat dummy Bill Watts gets out here cause I gotta bone to pick with him over what happened last week & we'll stand out here all show if we have to! Commercial-Boyd Pierce runs down the Mid-South Louisiana tour schedule for the coming week (We return to Ladd & The Samoans still with a clearly intimidated Boyd Pierce & a somewhat more relaxed Floyd Creatchman. Ladd is shouting "I'm waiting Watts" at the top of his lungs. The fans erupt into cheers as a irritated Watts heads to the set) EL: About time! What you had finish cleaning out catering before you came out? (Creatchman chuckles until a glare from Watts shuts that down) BW: Look Ernie I'm a busy man. You called me out here, I'm here now what do you want? EL: What i want is to know how you intend to punish that strutting Nancy boy Jimmy Garvin for the cowardly way he "retained" the Louisiana Championship last week. BW: Excuse me? As I recall YOU were disqualified when this savages you cart around stormed the ring and assaulted Garvin. EL: They only did that cause that prissy sissy was breaking every rule in the book and as usual your referee was to corrupt, stupid or both to do anything about it. Now It seems to me the only fair thing to do is reverse the decision and award me the title right now. BW: Ernie I know you spent some time up north recently and I don't know how they do things up there but in Mid-South you have to EARN a championship. Now if you & your men don't leave and let this show proceed I'll take The Wild Samoans out of the Tag Title Tournament! (The fans burst into cheers as Ladd is fuming) EL: Alright sucka we'll go but understand this, what happens next is on your head boy. (Ladd angrily leads the Wild Samoans away before Watts departs himself to a much warmer reception. Pierce let's out the breath he was holding) BP: Quite the tense situation there Floyd. FC: Yes it was & I for one am appalled at how that incompetent hick Bill Watts just treated Mr Ladd who was only trying to achieve some justice around here. BP: Not exactly what I took from that exchange. Folks let's see if we can't lighten the mood with our next match RB: This match is set for one fall with a 15 minute time limit. In the red corner from from Atlanta GA weighing 295 lbs...the Super Destroyer! And in the blue corner from Greensboro, NC weighing 224 lbs..."Sweet" Stan Lane! The Super Destroyer vs "Sweet" Stan Lane Lane gets some shine as his quick offense & good looks get the crowd on his side (the young ladies in particular) but in the end the size, power & mean streak of Super D gets him the win with the finish coming from a devastating Superplex. Commercial-Boyd Pierce runs down the Mid-South Mississippi touring schedule for the coming week BP: Welcome back fans and Floyd we've quite a treat for everyone, the Mid-South Mississippi Champion Don Diamond in action. FC: I gotta admit he's pretty skilled but I've been hearing great things about his opponent, "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel. BP: I can't argue with you there. By all accounts Buddy Landel has a bright future ahead of him. Should be a exciting contest. RB: This match is set for one fall with a 15 time limit. In the red corner from Jacksonville FL weighing 235 lbs..."Nature Boy" Buddy Landel! And in the blue corner from St Vintage FL weighing 229 lbs the reigning Mid-South Mississippi Champion...Don Diamond! Non title "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel vs Don Diamond The most evenly matched contest so far. Landel really works the crowd and you can see a potential star in a few years. They work a scientific match frequently trading holds. The methodical nature of the match makes it a surprise when the pin comes with a flash victory roll by Diamond. (Di cuts a post match promo saying he'll join commentary for the battle royal later and he's ready for whoever emerges the winner) Commercial-Promo for the Superdome Extravaganza on August 15th BP: Welcome back everyone. Up next is a qualifing match for the Mid-South Tag Title Tournament at the Superdome Extravaganza on August 15th. FC: Boyd Pierce ever since I arrived in the territory people can't stop talking about this tournament. BP: It's the hot topic to be sure. As a man looking for some talent to manage i imagine you yourself may have a interest in this tournament? FC: I'm keeping my eye on all the champions & top challengers Pierce. But the aspect of guaranteed new champions is certainly intriguing. I've heard some particularly impressive things about the Midnight Express. BP: They've had great success throughout the Southeast to be sure but they're against two double tough men in George Wells & Ray Candy. Let's head to the ring RB: This match is a qualifing match for the Mid-South Tag Team Title tournament. First in the red corner accompanied by "All Night" Norvell Austin, From The Dark Side at a combined weight of 485 lbs..."Ravishing" Randy Rose..."Lover Boy" Dennis Condry...The Midnight Express! And in the blue corner from Decatur GA weighing 341 lbs.. "Black Tank" Ray Candy...and his partner from Oakland CA weighing 240 lbs...George Wells! The Midnight Express ("Ravishing" Randy Rose & "Lover Boy" Dennis Condry) w/"All Night" Norvell Austin vs "Black Tank" Ray Candy & George Wells. The size of Candy & the brawling prowess of Wells makes them a formidable pairing despite their lack of experience teaming together. Rose & Condry on the other hand have plenty of experience together backed up by a willingness to break the rules. In the end it's the main on the outside who makes the difference as Austin grabs the leg of Wells during a suplex attempt and holds onto it as Rose scores the pin. (The MXE cut a promo where they aggravate the crowd even more with their cocky attitudes & disparaging comments about the woman in the crowd who apparently don't meet their standards. They dismiss the tournament as a formality and state their only concern is where they'll celebrate their title victory. They leave behind a exasperated Pierce...and a impressed looking Creatchman) Commercial-Promo for the Superdome Extravaganza on August 15th (We return to 14 men alr in the ring awaiting the final participant Percy Pringle the 3rd's "monster" . The manager walks out with a grinning that would make the Joker uncomfortable before gesturing to the entrance to reveal...KILLER KHAN!) 15 Man Battle Royal, Winner challenges Don Diamond for the Mid-South Mississippi Championship at the Superdome Extravaganza on August 15th Participants: "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel, "Sweet" Stan Lane, Steve Keirn, "All Night" Norvell Austin, "Cool" Carl Fergie, "UK Magician" Tony Charles, Bugsy Mcgraw, Plowboy Frazier, "Lord" Jonathan Boyd, George Barnes, Thunderbolt Patterson, "Mr USA" Tony Atlas, Mr Olympia, Scott McGee & Killer Khan Order of eliminations Carl Fergie by Tony Atlas Tony Charles by the Royal Kangaroos Scott McGee by Plowboy Frazier Stan Lane by Killer Khan Steve Keirn by Killer Khan Buddy Landel by Plowboy Frazier Norvell Austin by Tony Atlas & Thunderbolt Patterson Tony Atlas & Thunderbolt Patterson by Bugsy Mcgraw with a double clothsline immediately after they tossed out Austin George Barnes by Plowboy Frazier Jonathan Boyd by Plowboy Frazier Bugsy Mcgraw by Mr Olympia Mr Olympia by Killer Khan Plowboy Frazier by Killer Khan with 3 running boots Winner: Killer Khan Boyd Pierce hypes Khan's victory having eliminated a third of the field. Diamond acknowledges the tough test ahead of him with grim determination. Pringle joins his monster in the ring and jaws at Diamond as we head off the air. Next week: Main event "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs Bob Roop w/Sir Oliver Humperdink. Tag Team Tournament qualifier, "Sweet" Stan Lane & Steve Keirn vs "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel & "Handsome" Billy Starr. Also in action, Junkyard Dog, "Timekeeper" Mike George & "All Night" Norvell Austin

Kai's Killers start the night off with a win that may have just put them in the title hunt. Mitchell wins the Lumberjack (jill?) Match thanks to the heels on the floor & decides it's over but Pardue disagrees. Wendi Richter proves she's still near the top of the food chain as she (and Leather) become Tag Team Champions. I don't see how Moretti doesn't deserve another World Title shot after beating 11 other women. Poor Bennett let's the pressure get to her & gets kicked out of the Monsters. Combs gets just a little nasty to retain the World title. Luckily it seems there's no hard feelings. Another great WWW Supershow!
-
I hope The Golden Boys knock Henning & Adias's heads off. Valiant & "The Great" Gagne already prove themselves a great heel pair. Nice merging of lower midcard feuds with Ferris/Allen vs Flowers/Crews. Who does Larry Z have in store for the masked tandem? The Olympians are a textbook 80's patriotic face team. How convenient you had a Soviet duo arrive last week. The Fabs star in another great episode of the Beauty Shop. Baker & Hayes are pissed! Steamboat's in trouble! I certainly didn't picture George Wells as Morrow's new partner. Those must have been some damn good stock tips. Bockwinkel once again proves the smartest man in the room as he & Idol triumph over Lawler/Wahoo. So excited for both these matches.
-
The American Ninja damn near cripples Smiley & picks a fight with Rotunda. The Iron Bulls are back baby! And the crowd is as divided on them as ever. St Clair makes a triumphant debut alongside Taylor over Finley & Wiskowski. Clearly he's determined to show the fans of PCW why he's simply the best! Miller shows Yamada excactly why they call him "Mean" Mike. The Masked Avenger seems to inadvertently (?) driving a wedge between Burke and the rest of the Army. Gilbert & Muta are heading to a bloody climax! Brookside impresses in his biggest opportunity yet but Rose reminds everyone he's perfectly capable of defending his title alone.

A fun loop highlighted by the 6 man draw & the incredibly creative ending. Olympia gets counted out "saving RPG'S life" brilliant! The Mulligan situation becomes a bit more clear as he helps Bass defeat Cooley. Looking forward to the explanation for all this.

First the TV show. Watts is sure talking tough but he & the Board better come up with something mighty impressive to deter Ladd & The Shiek. Soul Man continues to impress with another decisive victory. We're gonna run out of ways to say this but Ladd is promo gold! Allen ain't too far behind neither. Ladd strikes a nerve & Black Bart pays for it. A whole week for one measly little chair shot? Hayes is bound and determined to take Tommy Rich's spot as the most hated heel in this game. Attacking a blind man in the hospital! R.I.P Carl Fergie. Allen retains the Mid-South Title but the question that will be on everyone's mind is... who is the Mighty...er I mean Masked Yankee? U.S Steel may have eaten the pin but a tv main event against the World Champion ain't too shabby. Now the dark matches Garvin outlasts Royal in the battle of Mid-South's most gorgeous wrestlers. Roberts scores a huge win over Race with a little help from Leduc. The Champs & the Masked Superstars go the distance leaving room for a rematch. DiBiase & Williams better keep on guard. What a night in Baton Rouge!

Richter looks to make herself a world champion again at the Supershow...oh and Peggy Lee Leather will be there too. Debbie Combs vs Misty Blue Simmes for the NWA World Women's Championship at the Supershow! Hell Yeah! After a multi-week gauntlet McIntyre falls to the "Queen of darkness" Medusa shows her Monsters how it's done by becoming a double champion.

I just checked and Murdoch & JYD held the tag titles twice between April 27th- July 26th in 81. Fun fact, both reigns ended courtesy of the Wild Samoans.
