  1. No. I mean he peaked in WWE in 2011.
  2. Bring back an old, established star who peaked in a previous decade
  3. Well Cody walked away from WWE and is an EVP for AEW and he's seemingly going back so they could probably shoot for the stars for anyone except probably Punk and Moxley.
  4. So his response is to leave and go back to WWE where he'll have no input at all. Makes sense.
  5. I would probably want the place where I had control of my presentation, promos, matches, and input on the rest of the company as well.
  6. Vince wants him back not because he's an AEW star, but because he saw the HHH throne entrance and loved it
  7. MLW is about to pick up, fans
  8. Would truly be hilarious if Cody walked away from his own company to go back to WWE because the fans were booing him and he didn't want to turn heel
  9. Cody Rhodes vs Steve Austin for WM
  10. Boy do I really hope Austin doesn't come back for a match. He's basically legitimately the only top guy from the era not to come back and embarrass themselves. KO doing the KO Show at WM talking shit about Texas and Austin comes out to hit him with a stunner would be okay, though.
  11. Likeability or lack thereof has never been much of a concern for MMA drawing. Many if not a majority of the biggest MMA draws throughout the years are absolute garbage people.
  12. They announced his contract expired, not that he was released. I think they just held him on ice for whatever that time injured was until the contract ran out.
  13. Shocked Cole face when Hangman kicks out of the Panama Sunrise, Shocked Cole Face when Hangman kicks out of the BOOM (maybe with a chair). Shocked Cole face when
  14. That stairs bump was bonkers
  15. I still think Lawler's matches in the WWF were mostly all comedy segments and I generally hate his entire run from 1992 to today.
  16. Shane is the crowned greatest wrestler in the world, bro. What better way to stick it to his father than become the Turner Network Television Champion.
  17. It would suck but also would be hilarious and such a ballsy shot across the bow
  18. TK personally hyping it multiple times on multiple platforms means there's zero chance it can live up to whatever hype people are building for themselves. The last time he did this, it was Christian, who while a great pick up and great guy to have in your company, certainly did not live up to the hype.
  19. Didn't he try to take over the entire creative with him in charge and his company as consultants or something a couple of years before he returned to TV
  20. Doing tribute moves or spots is one thing, lifting entire sequences is really pretty weird and makes no logical sense in a wrestling match. Especially when they're not doing nearly as well.
  21. A lot more people in the world identify as Christians than Rocks. Facts are facts.
  22. Punk/MJF felt weirdly low energy, both from talent and crowd to me. I get they were pacing for a long match but the energy wasn't where it should be for a feud that's been so personal. Compare it to the intensity of Kingston vs Punk. This should not have been a 40 minute match of limb work, it should have been a heated fight. I also felt like Punk was telegraphing all of his spots and selling ahead of time that nothing was a surprise at all from start to finish.
  23. I think it goes back to Batista/Cena era. They've basically knee capped everyone who has gotten over on their own since then, unless they get so over it disrupts shows and they can't ignore it anymore (Bryan, Becky).
  24. Shane vs Hangman for the title at Revolution
  25. I remember Spanky once floating that the Twin Towers were holograms and the planes hitting them were just CGI and they weren't real to begin with. Unsure if he was serious or not, I think there was an entire shoot video with London and Kendrick high as balls talking about conspiracy theories.
