Just remember, Parv once asked if the Piper's Pit with Frankie Williams was a "burial".

Can we just call Samoa Joe "that poor fucker" now?
Johnny Sorrow replied to Bix's topic in Pro Wrestling
Ah, it was more about how he had 5 minutes of fame as the teacher who got fired for using his sick days to wrestle. -
If you listen to Tony on JR's podcast, a lot of that vitriol should go away.
-
And did Punk or Cabana mention him by name on the podcast? I don't recall. That's a possible legal sticking point.
-
Not necessarily. Court isn't a podcast or wrestling promo. The lawyers do all the talking.
-
Then it makes no sense for him to file suit since Punk will likely slaughter them in open court. He's filing suit for personal libel.

Oh im using both. Word Hoard gets the big shout outs next show.

Wow. Those are fantastic. Thanks man.

Hey gang! I know a lot of you have some artistic photo shopping skills and I could use some help. I need a graphic for the BRAINBUSTER show and I have no such skills. I'm thinking some thing with these images and "BRAINBUSTER" with Johnny Sorrow as the writing on it. Thanks!

Marty, Lord Al was right. A smart wrestler would know that there's a nefarious guy at ringside with a cane who has used it in the past. Any wrestler who "expects this to be a straight wrestling match" against two evil foreigners and their evil manager is a dope.

Oh that's right, wasn't its Shield's first free TV loss or some shit? Anyway, there was a lot of people not understanding that the Shield were being cocky and were taking Christian and the Usos lightly, so they lose. It made the Shield show a little ass ,but not look weak at all... and returning Christian and just at the cusp Usos look great.

Well, maybe Batista didn't feel well or was having a bad day. You really can't judge someone based on a few incidents, especially wrestlers, considering how many appearances and dates they have to make. It's not an indictment on a guy just for having a shitty day.

I think people are afraid Rusev's undefeated streak goes to Cena, a guy who doesn't need it. But there's no doubt the match(es) will be very good-great. Right... I think everyone wants a Cena-Rusev program... that makes Rusev stronger. Totally true, but this idea that every unbeaten streak needs to be broken by some up and comer who "needs it" is flawed. If that happened every time it'd be predictable. Underdogs can't win in that scenario every time, then they wouldn't be underdogs. Sometimes the monster heel who's unbeaten needs to get beat by the top dog. But just not their first match. I agree with you that the top dog vs an unbeaten streak is money and should be won by the Ace from time to time. But when it comes to Cena, at point it really just a waste imo, there's much more to win from him not beating Rusev than him overcoming another challenge. Also, when was the last time an unbeaten streak was important in WWE and they gave it to an underdog? I don't see that scenario being predictable at all in today's WWE. Christian and the Usos beat the Shield and people shit all over it despite it making perfect sense.

Great insight . The Earth is round too.

No, not really. He was talking on his podcast about getting into shape but he was talking about for his reality shows. But sites everywhere ran with a story about him saying he was in "ring shape." He had to clarify what he meant like 5 times on his call in shows.

I stand by my "black balls" joke as being awesome and perfectly timed.

I actually understand Russo's thinking and can explain it, it's totally wrong, but I can explain it. When he says " stopping a fight that isn't real" it totally explains where his head is at. He's so convinced that since everyone knows wrestling's a show, that doing a realistic ending is "crazy". Add in the stuff I didn't see from the quote and it shows how he thinks that he IWP (?) demands clean pins and also when HE did "realistic" shit, we shit on it. It's the ravings of a guy who just doesn't get it.

Well, if you didn't like the finish to Owens/ Zayn, or NXT in general you're in some interesting company. The casual television viewing audience would absolutely scoff at this show. And, I don’t care it you give it SEVEN MILLION stars—it would never draw on a national level and that’s all that matters. And, if these young kids aren’t going to draw HERE—they certainly aren’t going to draw THERE. Personally, I don’t care how the finish of the match was booked because I simply don’t care enough. Whoever is in charge hasn’t made me care enough. Today [the finish] will be all right because it was NXT. Many will even try to make sense out of actually STOPPING a fight that wasn’t REAL to begin with. It’s called “the spin”? How you chose to make something look either “good”, or “bad” depending on your preference, or opinion. Well, here’s my spin on the finish of last night’s man event match between Sammy Zayn and Kevin Owens. Ready? Good. IT SUCKED.

Im loving the idea that a poll of us is proof of anything. Lol

At the house show I was just at the other week Bryan was super over. The only guy who got a louder reaction was Cena.

That main event was everything I love about Pro Wrestling. The build up, the history, Sami's ongoing story, the match, the finish....fucking PERFECT. It might have been the "worst" NXT Special of the few they've done, but it had the best Main Event match of any of them...by leaps and bounds.
