  1. Miz and Mizdow with the frame is the fucking best.
  2. i'm totally digging the whole "your Daddy in jail" mind games stuff.
  3. I'm watching the preshow panel and in the background they're doing the intros of the announcers. Lillian Garcia has her own titantron video?
  4. I think Jesse was at his best with Gorilla, by far.

You all do realize that HHH the Executive you see on TV is just a character he's playing right?
  6. Who doesn't agree that at this point WrestleMania draws on being WrestleMania? The show sells most of its seats before the card is announced.
  7. But Mania never bombs. That's like saying a team should be considered a great team because they were in the Super Bowl. Mania draws on being Mania.

The best thing about my old man is that if he put his mind to it, he could master any fucking computer or modern device. He's 75 and done that his whole life with every undertaking he's taken on. He just doesn't care enough I guess. It makes for great jokes, though. I can finally bust his balls about something he's not good at.
  9. "Momma always said the WON HOF voters are like a box of chocolates, except that most of them are white chocolate ."
  10. Not for lack of trying. A few weeks later in the same theatre you'd have thought she was milking a goat. Oy, the squeezing !

My Dad trying to do Facebook every now and then is hilarious. He just posts names of people. I think he thinks it's the search tab. Or that he can just post a name thinking the person will answer.
  12. My point is it's not Really that inconceivable that Kobashi and Misawa would have appeared in ECW at the time given how hot ECW was at the time.
  13. September 1984, The Rock n Wrestling era had just started, Valentine broke Tito's leg and took the IC title, and a 14 year old Johnny Sorrow made out with a girl and felt a boob for the first time in a movie theatre showing "All Of Me" with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin.
  14. Nonsense .
  15. Since a few years later these guys would appear for fucking ROH, is it that unbelievable they might have possibly come over for a far more hot and successful at the time promotion?
  16. Octopuses Garden is a great song because it's fun, Strawberry Fields is a great song because it's fun as well. Revolution #9 stinks because it's no fucking fun at all. Point being, if you are enjoying something...it's fun and great. It's like the term "guilty pleasure". That's fucking bullshit, there's no such thing. If you enjoy something there's nothing to feel guilty about.
  17. "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Paul Jones and his Army. It's the first thing I saw the first time I ever watched the NWA/ Crockett on World Wide Wrestling and it was like the first time I saw the Dead live, it changed my world. So fucking awesome.
  18. That's the news from Lake WONbegohen
  19. Charles and Will, leading Pete and Dylan to the secret Mod Cube.

Yeah, that Seth Rollins has been punished as fuck......Fuck Ricardo. There's no better way to have real awful stuff about racism there get buried than by it coming out of the mouth of a guy who's also full of shit and a fucking zero. This same shoot has fucking RICARDO going on about " back in my day we knew how to act in the locker room before these kids came in" or some such awfulness.
  21. So an excellent match isn't fun? I can't imagine thinking a match was awesome if it wasn't fun to watch. "I thought that match was excellent but I didn't have a good time watching it.", said nobody ever.
  22. You know who was a great mechanical heel? Yul Brynner in Westworld.
  23. Hawk no selling piledrivers wasn't some selfish "I won't sell" deal. It was part of his act, based around his ridiculously huge neck muscles. The ones he'd flex and pop off studded leather collars. Parvs just biased because of his childhood love of Money Inc.
  24. I've never thought that if a live crowd thought something was great than "we" should too. I say that if guys are connecting with the crowd and making them care then those guys are being great workers. Because that's their job.
