Yeah, that Seth Rollins has been punished as fuck......Fuck Ricardo. There's no better way to have real awful stuff about racism there get buried than by it coming out of the mouth of a guy who's also full of shit and a fucking zero. This same shoot has fucking RICARDO going on about " back in my day we knew how to act in the locker room before these kids came in" or some such awfulness.

So an excellent match isn't fun? I can't imagine thinking a match was awesome if it wasn't fun to watch. "I thought that match was excellent but I didn't have a good time watching it.", said nobody ever.

Hawk no selling piledrivers wasn't some selfish "I won't sell" deal. It was part of his act, based around his ridiculously huge neck muscles. The ones he'd flex and pop off studded leather collars. Parvs just biased because of his childhood love of Money Inc.

I've never thought that if a live crowd thought something was great than "we" should too. I say that if guys are connecting with the crowd and making them care then those guys are being great workers. Because that's their job.

Tune in for my most dated song parody ever that gets crickets, but I bounce back with Vince at the dry cleaner. -
Most Disappointing Wrestlers in History
Johnny Sorrow replied to JaymeFuture's topic in Pro Wrestling
The answer will always be Siva Afi. Never was there greater disappointment then that night at MSG. The lights went down, Snuka's music hit, and then...Finkel: "FROM THE ISLE OF FIJI..." *fans go nuts* Finkel: "...SUPERFLY..." *fans wetting themselves* Finkel: "...AFI!" *fans die a million collective deaths*anks with thanks to Pete -
Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3

Is his new gimmick "every whiny douchebag I run into in Boulder?" Cause, that'd be a heel I could really get behind hating. -
That Lawler match is awesome " His matwork was extremely rudimentary and a bit boring, he did nothing to keep it engaging. His selling wasn't anything notable and he did nothing really to goad the crowd or engage them during the match." "Passive aggressive,, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

Yep. Martel doesn't let Stan eat him alive either, he's just losing it after a while. The title change with Stan wasn't a brawl, although with Hansen it always kinda is, but it's one hell of an intense match. The addition of Stan + fighing babyface never fails to deliver, and Martel was a terrific fighting babyface. The ending is classic too. I was at that show and at the time we were all kind of bored with it, and half the crowd left. But it was like the last match on a LONG show. When the title changed, though, we all freaked out. Seeing a World Title change live back then was a rarity.

Smackdown officially back to Thursdays January 2015

Nice, now I can actually watch it on Friday nights again. (HULU Plus guy) -
Exactly. Harley was a touring champ, and his style was all about that. Go everywhere, do all the spots people who have read the mags expect, make the local guy look like he has a chance, and leave with the belt while the fans feel their guy got fucked. Rinse and repeat EVERYWHERE. To me, THAT'S what makes an all time great.

Well, i'd hate someone painting "poopy" on my limo.

Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant was an awesome character and wrestler who was the King of the Crockett mid card feuds that people were totally emotionally invested in. Valiant was awesome and you'd be a fool and a communist to disagree.

Harley was fucking awesome and could go anywhere and give the crowd a great show while making the local hero look like a million bucks. In the days where no one was seeing what a traveling champ was doing until he came to town, he was perfect.

New show with Flair is fucking great, with a lot of lessons on what the greats think about as far as great work and why Flair did certain things that get modern criticism . And two of the greatest of all time discuss how they made their blades .
-
I'm not aware of that but would it be the same old shit that crosses all national boundaries ala "the big muscular guy gets the push instead of our favorites"?
-
What the fuck is "nerfd"?
-
That's part of why he was awesome.
-
It's apparently about how the debut was huge and then he had a ton of other issues once in WWF .

I enjoyed this show and Snowclown can be a jerk but he's right, here. This was a fun fucking show.
