Night of Champions 2014 (Live as it happens)

Something to think about , and Orton vs Jericho was great. And this was a great show, finish aside. I GET what they're doing but I was so absorbed into that awesome match that it pissed me off. Which is probably the fucking point.- 173 replies

It just played for me on my phone. -
Wait, so you don't dig him exploding as an engaging character where he started out heel and was so great at it that it turned him good guy? AND you don't dig the awesome look? The awesome look that was a major part of him getting atomic over? Wow, that's kooky, man.

Team Hell No was the best thing to happen to him at the time. They were the best part of every show. It saved Bryan and revitalized Kane of all people.

He makes my top echelon and it's his WWE stuff that bumps him into it. First time I saw him in ROH he was this bland babyface who was obviously a great wrestler but nothing about him made me give a shit about him. During his one week heel turn when Liger came in , he suddenly became interesting. Then came the awesome heel turn that was cemented at the COD show and suddenly this guy was coming together and showed that he could do character work. Then you had his character evolution in WWE that in hindsight is fucking spectacular , if at times unintentional from a creative team standpoint. By the end of Mania 30 he was a full and awesome Pro Wrestler. Every aspect of what makes someone a Greatest of all time top tier guy.

Here's why "What If?" doesn't matter to me in all this. If there are guys in this whose best shit might be in the future that doesn't exist but is being considered, then Magnum's being robbed of the same nonexistent future shouldn't be part of how people consider him. And Vice/ Versa.

One of the greatest of all time. Great promos, incredible entertainer, great in ring pro wrestler, legendary matches, held audiences in the palm of his hand. Easy top ten.

And Lou was originally Lauper's enemy because of the stuff on Pipers Pit and the Moolah vs Richter MTV match. When he turned face he and Cyndi had made up. Which led to Piper attacking them which led to Piper vs Hogan on MTV. Edit: Bruno vs Larry with ALL the matches and the promos leading to it and then during it is just as great of a WWE fued .
-
I was referring to someone saying the fued was pretty much over by Mania 1 when it was more in the middle. Anyway, can Will someday give me a blowjob as immense as the one he gave Phil? Jesus, hookers charge 100 bucks for that. And I guess Phil hasn't heard the 1,067 shows where Will says the same nice things , lol.

I was in that crowd and it was amazing . One of my favorite live wrestling experiences.
