That's the spirit! Seriously, do you really think they're just gonna toss aside Henry? They're just finishing up the already started Khali program from before the Chamber build-up. They've got a lot of TV time to fill and a short ending program between them that WILL end with Henry killing Khali, is nothing to get upset about. And since the crowd is starting to cheer Henry, they're left with how to turn him face without losing everything that makes him so awesome as a monster. I figure, since they've made a point of Henry and Orton being Arch-Enemies a lot recently, they'll pull a double turn deal where they feud and Orton ends up the heel and Henry can be a face without becoming smiling Mark again. Like the first time Orton and Henry feuded. Oh and, Holy Shit...Vince is looking more and more like Andy Griffith every day. Edit: The Drum Corp jamming on The Rock's music is the best shit. Fucking awesome.

Mark's gonna destroy and retire Khali. Dyan's like fucking Eeyore, here. And I'm loving Zeb. His speech was like the Editorial/ Opinion page of our local paper in Longmont, CO any given day.

Yea but having that investment adds to the big moments it just makes the bad ones even worse. I've usually had some sort of attachment and makes it at least half way enjoyable no matter how shitty the product gets Henry's big moments are probably done and there is no one else on the roster I give a fuck about at all as a character. I doubt it, man. On RAW tonight they made a big point of pointing out to the viewers at home that "MARK HENRY IS NEXT" with a graphic showing his killing people dead from last night.

I'm wondering how they're gonna handle Henry starting to get cheers. The crowd loved him last night.
  6. Considering it's the AWA and the announcing was always kinda shitty, it's not a problem. And, like shoe, I've watched these already. Now, if these were Memphis shows I'd probably miss hearing Lance.
  7. Heeeeey, It's a PPV. Obviously, everything's coming up Johnny. Ok, let's go through it. 1. Show vs Del Rio: Actually, I thought this was just ok. Then the botch happened and we were all "Ah Christ." and it took us out of it for a second. Good match, but the least of what they've done this feud. 2. Cesaro vs. Miz: I loved this. Cesaro destroying Miz' injured shoulder all match while Miz was doing whatever he could to survive and fight back ruled. The finish stunk, but in one of those Crockett NWA ways that made me feel nostalgic. And Miz kicking Cesaro in the balls after the match in a "Fuck, if I'm gonna lose from an accidental ball shot I might as well do it for real" way was great stuff. 3.The Chamber Match fucking ruled. Watching Mark Henry turn into "Stone Cold" Mark Henry was cool as fuck. 4. Shield vs Cena/ Shaemus/ Ryback: This totally kicked ass and stole the show. It was the best six man tag I've seen in forever. 5. Ziggler vs Kofi: Not bad. Perfectly fine filler. 6. The Chicks: I have no idea, We had a smoke break. 7. Rock vs Punk: I liked this just fine. Rock looked fine to me, and Punk was doing his schtick great. Was it the match of the year? No. But it was fun and entertaining. And better than the first one. Add in pizza, beer, weed, pals and the fact that the 16 year old here is throwing a party for his pals here now after the PPV and I'm planning on going upstairs to embarrass him the rest of the night....then I give this night of wrestling an A minus.
  8. That show was a blast.
  9. Nah, it gave Bret another reason to turn. It worked because it helped with the Hero in Canada/ Heel in America deal they were working towards. If you were a staunch Bret fan, you were mad he was getting cheated and screwed and if you were a fan ready to boo him, it added to the "He's a crybaby" deal. There was a lot of shit that added together caused Bret to finally explode and go heel, this was one and I just think it all worked so well.
  10. You think Jake turned on the kid actors to some blow?
  11. Nope, not even time and weed can make me change my mind. I fucking hate the Ultimate Warrior.
  12. This was cool. I'm pretty sure I had never seen this before now and it was fun. I still fucking hate the Warrior but him sprinting to the back after being eliminated is some unintentionally funny shit, though.
  13. Tonight was the first time I ever saw this. Holy shit, this fucking ruled. And the going for pinfalls thing later in the match is easily explained. Obviously, neither man is a member of MENSA, here. Garvin apparently has the brain of a 5 year old, demonstrated by his mocking faces at Valentine when in the figure four. So it makes sense that a man with a brain of mush would keep forgetting it's a submission match. Valentine going for a pinfall late can be explained by the fact that he's had his clock cleaned all match, and his own brain damaged dome caused him to forgot the rules as well. Or, since it was an NWA match basically, they were both waiting for Tommy Young to say "fuck it" and count a pinfall anyway.
  14. I love that Marc Lowrence gets all upset in the way a pastor would when Garvin says JYD doesn't even have a third grade education.
  15. I'm going haywire for Jeff in the shower. Grrr-owwlll.
  16. Hey man....we can go back and forth and goof around about wrestling. But you watch your mouth about West Side Story. -(Johnny Sorrow, who always cries when Tony dies.)
  17. Just tonight, Henry cut a promo backstage that was heads and tails better than just about anyone else around.
  18. Irrational? Bah. I've seen more realistic fighting in a high school production of West Side Story.
  19. I do not disappoint.
  20. I'm good either way.
  21. I'm pretty sure Tammy isn't blowing guys for crack, hence "crack whore." That's an ECW crowd chant, not a diagnosis. She does have a long history of alcohol and pill abuse, however. And I'm not buying into the whole "heartless WWE" here. How many times are they expected to pay for anyone's rehab before it's time to say enough. I know that Vince does it mainly for good PR, but that shouldn't erase the fact that it's a good policy. Again, there comes a point where there's only so much a company can do. And the whole "You're not Scott Hall" and "the election is over" is stuff coming from her on yet another shoot interview DVD where she has a history of bullshitting. I hope she can eventually get clean and get her life together, but I'd take anything she says with a grain of salt.
  22. I had some shitty sound issues from my side, but this was still a fun show. Shoe's the man.
  23. Shit, I had 4 guys on the line and they all went silent. I was drowning.
  24. I'll be there, as if ya didn't know.
