On RAW tonight, while the PTP's were beating down Kofi AW said "Tonight, the Prime Time Players will be playing the part of the LAPD!" and after doing the afro pic deal with Young, he yells at Kofi "Can't pick no dreadlocks!" AW rules.

Show was a fucking blast. We all totally had a great time here.

Dylan....AW started yelling at Rosa that "This ain't Taco Bell, you can't cross the border!" when she started to go after him on his side of ringside. AW is fantastic.

Why would you ignore AW? He's fucking great. He's doing a modern day Jimmy Hart w/ the megaphone deal and it's fantastic.

Again, I think Dave was trying to make a veiled dig on McMahon there, while not taking into account the things you bring up, John. Of course it's dumb, but I'm not thinking it was a Dave "I'm in a bubble" dumb shit but more of a Dave "I can't be funny or ironic" sort of dumb shit.

To be fair, I'd hopefully guess that Dave was trying to be sarcastic while implying that Vince payed off kids and their families.

You have to remember the era he started. He was a huge man, especially for seventies wrestling. I think he gets an unfair rap at times. He knew when to hit his spots and why, and had a few good looking suplexes. Yeah, Studd gets a bad rap. I always liked the guy. The cage match with Hogan on the first Hulkamania tape is good stuff. And he had a fucking great name.

If you lived in the New Jersey/ New York market you got U 68 on UHF. For awhile they had a different wrestling promotion on almost every night, or at least different shows. Saturday nights was Mid South/ UWF, I remember. You also had Mid-Atlantic with Bob Caudle, World Class ( which was also on Philly 57), and this awful wrestling from California that was pretty terrible.
