  1. I was disappointed with the Regal show. It was boring, and that has nothing to do with the subject matter.
  2. Why are "some people " "disputing " the notions that Dave actually said?
  3. Basically just says his taste in what he likes changes. Which is cool, but also just adds to the pile of reasons why no one should just subscribe to one person's opinions on performance and art.
  4. That LWT bit is going to gain traction. The first one was using WWE as a throwaway joke, complete with an "Isn't wrestling gay?" line. But this was researched and really felt like someone on the staff might be a wrestling fan, or maybe some sane fans reached out to express their disgust. Vince doesn't give a shit, and if he watched the rest of the episode he'd probably be loving Oliver taking down lawyers/ DA's. Vince may love that he has a great legal team, but he hates lawyers. But Stephanie and HHH do notice this shit, and must be wanting to go into full back out mode, no matter what they say publicly, or HHH working the show. And Cena saying " Nope.", is huge. It's really the biggest development at this point.

I love that Trish and Lita have matching gear, and the heels Alice In Wonderland gear is spectacular.

Beth said she was the second woman ever in the RR.
  7. I agree 100 percent. Fuck that guy. I'm willing to deal with beliefs and stances that are abhorrent from great performers, like Dick Murdoch or early Woody Allen, but Warrior? Who cares what they do with his dumb name, whatever they do will be better than anything he did with it. He stunk.
  8. That's a fucking huge jump from cruise ship gig that he's still hawking tickets for and hasn't happened yet to starting a promotion with Jim Ross ,(that sauce must be selling?), and the batshit owner of the Jags. Call me kooky, but multiple Ultimate Warriors is more believable.
  9. I like their programming more than most around here, and I'm at the first point where I'm actually upset about something wrestling related. And by related, I mean it's a side effect of what Im really angry about. My country and the Saudis have always had a fucked relationship that makes me furious. But with the Mango Mussolini in charge, it's way, way worse. Im not cancelling the network, most of the PPVs are gatherings of friends that I'm not going to give up, although there's going to be more yelling at the tv than ever before. And I'm not going to give up the podcasts I do with my friends based on the classic content. And I know I'm being hypocritical, and it's fucking eating at me worse than any other crazy, weird, criminal, bullshit that's gone on in this business, and not just Vince shit. That podcast is about World Class. I'll never be clean.
  10. They just dropped the entire Last Battle Of Atlanta card. It totally feels like " Hey, give Johnny Sorrow types something to distract them from this Saudi Arabia fucking debacle ."
  11. That's so weird given his stances on most everything else.
  12. Nash surprises me. He's one of the few liberal voices on wrestling Twitter, and not at all a fan of orange 45. Here's his exact quote. "9-11 was conducted by 15 of the 19 attackers who were Saudi's, our response was to attack Afghanistan and Iraq. Now a hit squad is responsible for the death of a Saudi Journalist. Should we hit Yemen and Iran. We'll never know the truth. Let's push Saudi Arabia to progress." So he's calling out the Saudis, but is the "push them to progress" line actually referring to the event?
  13. Oh, that's apples and oranges. Talent rightfully calling out some of Dave Meltzer's inappropriate comments is completely different than commenting on something like this, that has garnered the attention of Congress.
  14. I loved the Rikishi show. The explanation of how the Rikishi runs over Austin angle actually happened was great.
  15. To suffice. "I'm not gonna watch but yes I am. By the way TNA/ Japan"
  16. I enjoy the state of the company stuff on the individual cards shows more than the card reviews, for the most part.
  17. I don't mind the long ones, cause I listen to those during my work day driving from stop to stop. They're especially good for those days when there's long stretches of driving between stops.
  18. Neilson ratings have always been flawed at best, and in 2018, they're really not all that relevant. The big four networks still look at them a bit, CBS loves to brag about its ratings for shows only old white people watch. But it's a new age, with vast amounts of ways to watch content of any sort.

    That's fucking awesome.
  20. Ok, terrific.
  21. Oh, yeah. I've never seen a Janella match and couldn't pick him out of a lineup but I know who he is and how successfully he's prompted himself and his brand.
  22. If cocaine was a post. And yeah, to answer the self promotion deal, the Bucks are the prime example. They're amazing and should be an example for anyone doing anything in any endeavor.
  23. Sure. But as far as pro wrestling goes, it also really must be easier to train your sister-in law than your wife.

Drove me nuts. Dunne and Ricochet were having an amazing match, but those chants were unbearable. The only voices reacting to the action were female while all the dudes were just fucking double chanting.
  25. I haven't gotten around to watching RAW, so that means I probably won't, but SmackDown was fucking great. AJ vs Almas was outstanding. I read somewhere that Vince is high on Almas and Vega, and that performance must have helped seal the deal.
