  1. The whole thing of Wardlow was the chase to get to MJF, I think now that's done with, the shine is off the rose. Don't want to write him off on his first week, but think in the long run, it will show that MJF was the reason he got those reactions.
  2. (4) Floyd Mayweather attacks The Big Show: WWE No Way Out 2008 - YouTube It was lucky that Big show was so big that those punches didn't break his nose
  3. The work wasn't about drawing money, it was working Bischoff into giving Pillman a release so he could play both WCW and WWE against each other for a bigger contract.
  4. Forgot about the V*Top tournament
  5. The last great tournament was the 1993 king of the ring.
  6. The problem is how they connected, I try not to judge someone from twitter evidence alone. I still think it should be a police matter and not for the online community to pass judgment. Yes in isolation the picture his ex wife posted of him abusing her is damming. But then his tag team partner and his wife defended him and said he was at their house at the time of the alleged abuse. So either three people are coving up the abuse or one is lying about said abuse, I'm not the police nor was i there. So I don't believe the abuse allegations or pass judgment until more evidence materialises. So i don't use let it cloud my judgment when it comes to the other issue and it gives me more sympathy for him as she released the picture to hurt his career. If it turns out more evidence surfaces, i will change my view when and if that happens.
  7. I did say i will step out of this debate as we going in circles, and I've said most of what i have to say on it. But I do have a philosophical take on if there's any difference on someone in the arts using satire for comedy effect. Why is there's a different standard for someone to use it in everyday life to entertain their friends, if the end result is the same, to make people laugh. But i think at this point i will bow out and get ready to watch AEW Dynamite
  8. Most of my talking points were about giving someone a second chance, and showing some compassion, don't hang a 20 year old out to dry and sack him on one bad choice he made. No i don't understand the point of view of people who have a no forgiveness agender, one strike and your done. But I did read the posts and took on what people said, but no-one had much of an argument on why he shouldn't get a second chance. No one addressed these points of mine, it was more of he's doing a Hitler impression, so he's bad and deserves to be punished.
  9. i don't mind someone getting cancelled if the crime warrants it, Its not an automatic response where if you go left I go right. Plus I'm not angry or upset about it, just pointing out the wrongness of it from my point of view. Although cancel culture feels more a from the right idea than a lib viewpoint.
  10. The point of debate is to debate the issue, you want me to understand your point of view, but you don't want to understand mine is a bit unfair. You basically saying because i don't agree with you guy's, lets stop talking to him. Lets agree to disagree like adults
  11. Stoborough I agree with what you say and if I had my own company I would unfortunately probably have to do the same due to the outside pressure of the world at this moment in time. My point has been unless there is evidence that this is part of a patten or he posted it himself online with a pro Nazi stance. I think he should be giving the benefit of doubt and the fact he was 20 at the time. This only one strike and you out is a unhealthy part of our society at the moment. The wwe should have probably just sent him to some awareness course and had him work with a Jewish organisation to raise awareness. Rather than just chuck him under the bus for a revenge picture being shared. Obviously no one on this board ever messed up and did anything that would get them fired if it came to light. It's nice to know eveyone here is a sant and a upstanding member of the community. But I will stop on this particular debate, as I've said my peace and I do understand the views other people are making. I just have more forgiveness and understanding I think for people being people and making dumb mistakes in life. Some mistakes I have less or no forgiveness for, jimmy uso, and Tammy Sytch for example. Or if it turns out he did beat his ex then I would have zero tolerance for him too.
  12. People are offended by everything nowadays, I'm not surprised people are offended by it. But i just don't personally see anything to get that offended by in it. Certainly not for someone to get fired from their job by it, if you want to say it's in poor taste/judgment I will agree with that. The rest of your post mirrors my own thoughts on the subject. But maybe growing up in the UK where until the last 15/20years taking the micky out of Hitler and Germany was fair game on most tv shows. So maybe I'm less easily offended by poor taste. Having grandparent's who served in the second world war with Jewish heritage and took great delight in shows like Faulty Towers, Allo Allo, Dads army. Which took the pee out of the Germans and the war regularly though the 70's and 80's. I'm guessing most people offended now are offended on behave of the people they think should/would be offended by it. (1) Don't Mention the War! (HD & EXTENDED) | Fawlty Towers | BBC Comedy Greats - YouTube As most of the generation who lived/fought though the war have passed on I'm not saying those shows are still relevant in todays world and there is some truly racist language and vile views in some of them. So it's good we moved with the times and that humour is no longer part of most shows that are shown on the television now. Taking the piss or doing an impression of Hitler doesn't make you a sympathizer, I wish people could recognize the difference between a bad idea/joke and genuine anti-Semitic behaviour.
  13. My main point is, I don't think what he did means he deserves to be cancelled or fired for it. I'm not advocating doing a Hitler impression is a good thing. But it was just a dumb in the moment thing he thought was funny at 20 years old. Think people are blowing this up and using the anti-Semitic/Holocaust angle to justify someone getting fired for a dumb ill thought out mistake he made in his younger life. Think we are doing much more harm to society with this no second chances bullshit, we will end you now because we now deem what you did was so inexcusable and we as the mortally police pass judgment and you had your one chance at life and you used it up. We not going to allow you the benefit of growing as an human being and to learn from your "mistake" and then hopefully life your life as a better person going forward. I just don't see it as a big issue to lose one's job over, if he put it out there himself on ticktok, or YouTube with a vile hate message or there was more to this story like him doing Nazi party's with his friends. Then yes sack his dumb ass, But just seems harsh to lose your job for being an idiot in your bathroom because someone else had an engender to get you fired for it. I don't know, Donald trump is a vile racist using hate to separate his country to win an election. who knows how bad things would have got if he had stayed in power. He would probably be arming Russia as we speak if he was still in office. Obviously some of this lack of forgiveness and justifying the lose of his job is more to do with the abuse issues being raised against him, it does make this story easier to use against him.
  14. When Alec Baldwin does a Donald Trump impression, do you think that's to support him. Suppose we should also get rid of The Produces by Mel brooks, as I'm sure that's too offensive in todays world too.
  15. He was a 20 year old kid at the time, who was unfortunate to have the pic get out there. Most guy when shaving have probably giving themselves a hitter moustache and done that in the moment. It's not a news story on it's own and I don't see any big issue with it, nor do I see it as him supporting Nazism, just something he thought was funny in the moment with his friends. Um, I think he was entitled to use it to has a dig at his ex as she used it, to help get him fired, but the pic didn't bother her enough to not have a relationship or sleep with the guy. So does that make her an Nazi sympathiser because she had a relationship with him? Also while the Holocaust was a big part of the hitter regime, where was he making light of the actual Holocaust, he was just doing a Hitler impression. Its a vast difference to that, to mocking the Holocaust. I do call snowflake issues on this story, if you are offended by that pic, you need to get some help Vast difference to a kid doing it in his bathroom, than say Prince Harry dressing up as a Nazi and going to a fancy dress party. Unless there is evidence of him saying anything anti-Semitic, I say this isn't a news story.
  16. Guessing its the Young bucks interfering in the Cole Vs Hardy match, setting up the tag
  17. Anyone else had bad vibes when Darby jumped off that later with Martha hart as a guest of the show, in a Owen Hart tournament match. That dive almost went so wrong, Tony needs to stop allowing such dangerous stunts before it ends badly.
  18. Because no one else is booked remotely strong or even like a top star on his level, apart from brock Lesnar in the build up. But Lesnar got owned in the wrestlemaina match and left no interest for a rematch.
  19. That's irrelevant, the point is Roman is a heel like HHH who doesn't make anyone or put anyone over. Exactly the same as HHH reign of terror, its about the product that the viewers see, not the backstage politics. What Bryan wanted is not important to creative end of the product, at the end of the match Roman had killed two babyfaces and left no one to make money with later in the year. I know it's not Roman who's booking this mess, so there is the big difference between him and HHH, but we as the viewers still suffer the bad booking and lack of top babyfaces to get behind. Perception is reality as Vince says and the reality is WWE booking is as bad as when HHH was on top for building future babyfaces.
  20. Bryan wasn't on his way out in that match, only made his mind up much later to go to AEW
  21. Ok the HHH booker feud is a hard one to argue against, but I meant in the fact that both are heels and both win decisively against their opponents. Nether guy is making any new babyfaces or getting anyone over but themselves.
  22. The finish to the wrestlemania 37 match was a complete burial to his opponents.
  23. Roman is the new HHH in booking, but without the backlash HHH got back in the day.
  24. Fantastic match, but he shouldn't have kicked out of that second jumping paradigm shift, already had the holly shit moment with the first one.
  25. Um guys, we living though it now with Roman Reigns, yes its not Roman burying the talent with his backstage shenanigans. But the results are probably worse with sure fire talent being let go or just shitty booking getting nobody but Reigns and Brock over.
