The great myth about Regal, he's average at best. But as a character on tv, one of the best, just for his entertainment value and comedic timing.

Its Tony company, if they ran it by him and he said it's cool, go for it then it's on him. If they just did it off their own backs, then Tony needs to toughen up and lay down the law. Personally, I found it funny, and punk did piss on the company and wrestlers in the press conference. Then he started a backstage fight, so I can see the Bucks and Kenny saying a big fuck you to him. The best thing would be for this to be a start to an elaborate angle and for punk to come back and join FTR to feud against the Elite for business.

Not saying it's true, but the wrestlers used to joke when someone got a push, they must have been blowing Pat Patterson. The fake Boobs is no different than guys having to use steroids in the pass, the fooling around with Vince is undefendable and hopefully we don't hear more stories like this in the future.

Thought the heel turn was her idea and she pushed for it?

But this applies to the men as well as well as the women, only a few men have been allowed to reach the upper echelon of the WWE. Based on height, body's or until this year Vince whims, how many WWE wrestlers could have had Hall of fame careers. She was a like a Bryan Danielson rise in the WWE, her nose got broken and the fans got behind her in a big way. But without his career to back up her case for hall of fan induction.

Ok can you enlighten me on why she not on the same standard as Seth or other male stars. In farness I've not watched WWE with regularity in a long time. But the booking for male and female stars has been pretty universally bad. I Know the male stars was getting more tv time, but when Becky got over how was her segments timewise compared to the males, if she was a big draw for 14 months, I'm guessing she was moved up the card and giving more time as she was a draw? The stuff this year with Sami and the Bloodline has been the first classic stuff in a long time. So, I'm now taking more of an interest in the product again.

But then you are enforcing the double standard, I'm not saying women should have a higher standard than men, which is the issue in the workplace for women and minorities. Think people are getting confused of what the double standard is, it would be that Becky has to draw more than Austin to be eligible. I'm saying, she shouldn't get special treatment and a lower bar because she is a woman. Just Equal rights for all lol

The WWE on how they book women wrestling has been a slap in the face, let's not make it into something it's not. AEW doesn't have the talent to book a strong women division, so I think we need to reassess woman wrestling in 5 and 10 years and see how it's been treated for the long term. As for Becky falling of the list this year, it doesn't really matter as in 3 or 5 years if she's stronger enough she be put back on the ballot. As for drawing since Cena it's been the WWE name which is the main draw. Becky was a draw for a short amount of time, but how big a draw was she compared to Cena or even in comparison to Místico. I get the argument she's the strongest women to come along in decades, but it still smells of double standards. This isn't me with a misogynist view of trying to keep a woman out of the hall of fame. But unless we have a hall of fame for woman, they should be judged as the same as men, if Seth Rollins had her numbers but nothing else, would you be calling for him to go into the hall of fame for just a year's wrestling career. Don't forget people think The Rock shouldn't be in, because his wrestling career was so short. But his numbers blow's hers out the water for drawing power.

Thanks for the clarification, plus for the hard work you put into her case, a very interesting read and very informative But on this basis (let's play devil advocate) should Mildred Burke even be in the hall of fame? For me a year's draw is not enough to go into the hall of fame. Unless she did Austin/ hogan level of business over that year. I think there is the double standard that because she's a woman she is getting graded on her wrestling career/drawing power at different level than that the men are voted in on.
-
I'm not saying she should be in or shouldn't be in, but your argument for her is she is the best woman draw. She should be rated higher than the men who drew more than her, because she's a woman we should have a lower standard for her to go in? I thought the whole argument for her was she was one of WWE biggest draws for a small period of time? Drawing more than the men?

Started watching this live in the Uk but turned it off and went to bed when JJ turned up. Mess of an angle and no interest in watching anything he's involved in. But if you must do this, why not have JJ in the sting mask for the big reveal, don't over complicate things. In a side note Darby came very close to yet again to killing himself, this time on a backdrop during the break, almost came down straight on his head. I did go back and finish watching the rest of the show today, but nothing worth going out your way to see. Although I did notice Rey Fenix having flashbacks to his elbow popping as he totally sandbagged that chokeslam though the table.

Isn't he also the one who put Bruce Lee in his place when he was taking liberties with the stuntmen on the Green Hornet

This was a Jim Ross line back in the day, always talking about how athletic he was. Used to drive me crazy as the guy never did or showed anything athletic and his in ring work was average at best. -
Always thought Ted Dibiase was overrated as a worker, a fantastic Act though. He just doesn't have any classic matches to his name apart from one cage match with Duggan.

The crowd held the Briscoes vs the FTR match back as a best match of all time, for me. As they were too quiet during the first couple of falls. Plus I was legit concerned for the safely of Dax when he landed on his head from the doomsday device and also the table spot looked liked it killed both guys as well. Even though the table spot wasn't hit perfectly and I was worried for them after the landing, I will point out that's how you set up a table spot. It was very organic in how it was put into position. Not a 2 min break in the match to get it ready for the bump. But still a match of the year candidate for sure

I'm not a doctor but from his podcast he seems to have it under control, hopefully he is running everything by his doctor and still getting tested "My first match back officially was February 16 with Jake Hager versus Santana and Ortiz in Nashville. I think at that point I was down 25lbs. I had the match, I remember the match was really good, hard-hitting, impactful, and I just basically stopped taking the blood thinners 36 hours before, and then as soon as the match is done you can continue taking the blood thinners." All the while, further scans continued to show that his blood clots were going away. He was able to reduce the level of blood thinners he was taking even more. "If they're still moving in the right direction, there is a chance that I won't have to be on these blood thinners at all. It's not a big deal now, I take them twice a day, you just have to remember," he said. I am sorry to hear about your mother,

Jericho said he's ok to wrestle, just has to stop taking them 36hrs before a match

If Vince leaves the stock price plummets, its a business and all the talent firing's during covid proves it's all about the money. So unless the USA network put pressure and tell the WWE he has to step down or they will pull the programming due to the sponsors or the public image is hurting them to for him to stay. They will probably just carry on as they are, with Steph as the figure head and Vince running things in the background.
-
vs Mick Foley is his best match and close to a classic, Randy problem is he never came close to a match as good as this again.
-
Pretty much every Brock Lesnar Match has underdelivered to the level it could have been.

This may not mean in a sexual way The former employee moved from WWE’s legal department to become an assistant to Laurinaitis in 2021.

The fire bump was an accident, it wasn't the plan for him to land in it like he did, or for it to stick to him. Shit happens Desperate for cheers is probably every wrestler who ever lived.
