Braun vs HHH and what's in spoiler tags maybe. Yikes. McMahon Mania incoming. Color me very much uninterested.

For a mixed match challenge ? Damn. That's hot stuff.
-
Rollins is a Trip guy. I guess.

This. It's never, ever, easy to go to the police in the first place. Add in the social pressure, the shitty working 'da business' environement. Doesn't help. So, no blame on her at all.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
El-P replied to Lust Hogan's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Hopefully this doesn't screw the whole podcast stuff... Like, hiring Bruce so he makes a WWEtm podcast on the Network. Please, no. Don't ruin a good thing. -
Tough break for the girl. That sucks. Yeah, hopefully they keep her around for a while.
-
Agreed. Yano is great at what he does.
-
Paints a terrible picture of Elgin too actually. A friend of mine used to be in that kind of relationship, so yeah, it sucks.
-
Ok, I'm totally confused now.
-
The match will probably look like shit mostly because of physical limitations. Taker has looked like shit the last two Manias already, and the matches don't get better because of it.
-
Wait, I though Elgin kinda covered a sexual assault by another worker in his promotion for months. Now he's the one being directly accused ? I skipped some episodes here I guess (or I never got the story right). About Meltz, I remember during the Schiavone podcast, Conrad reading some old Observer stuff that really didn't paint a nice picture of Meltz as far as talking about women goes (also in the Prichard podcast, a bit about "Terri Runnels looking like a washed up pornstar" in 98, which was like, ugh...).

Lesnar would work (now). ..... ..... ..... Aj & Nak would work.
-
1990 : Taker worked like he was a corpse. 2017 : Taker looked like a working corpse. Morbid curiosity is right. The Taker match last year was the only time I was remotely impressed by Reigns all year long (he usually bores the fuck out of me) because he managed to work around a guy who looked like he didn't belong in the ring anymore. The post-match was perfect, so of course we have to make it irrelevant by having a dream match at the very least 5 years too late.

Yep. Only in pro wrestling, that kind of mentality. When you set back and think about it for two seconds, most of the pro-wrestling way of doing things (particularly in WWE) are completely insane and make no sense in real life. Plus, she's an "independent contractor" (wink wink nudge nudge) so why should anyone care ? But yeah, the injury really suck for her.

By saying "But I thought it was pretty smart of him to do—to say—that, because it became instantaneously a topic that people were talking about. (...) I take absolutely zero offense in him saying it.", he comes off as a huge crybaby ? Seriously now...

They would be so adorable together as babyfaces. Come on, Rusev wins Rumble. Rusev crushes Brock Lesnar and celebrates with Ravishing Russian Lana at Mania. Let's have something that the audience would actually love, for a change.

Have not taken part in this, but the result thread sure is pretty funny and really well done.

Well, Butterface (that's a tribute to Tim Horner, who was about as charismatic and good looking as Jay White) doing a re-actment of a 20 years old angle in DDP fooling the nWo, except with a Bullet Club that looks like the B-Team at best (I guess Elite is the Wolfpack, the only three who matter) and without being over one bit to begin with, isn't exactly setting the world on fire with me. I still don't see shit in this guy. But hey, Johnny Ace made a good career in Japan, so who knows ?
-
It would fail miserably, basically.
-
Hum...not exactly. "he wants to get more wrestlers with a relationship WWE involved in New Japan. He says he's going to do that until "the other side" says: "Let's get along."" So basically, he wants to be able to get guys like Jericho, from WWE fame, working in NJPW. So yeah, that "article" title is bullshit. Gotta get those clicks, man.

This. Whenever I feel "obligated" to watch something, be it because of hype or taking part to a discussion, it totally spoils the fun for me. It has to come from within and the idea of enjoying what you're doing/watching. Of course, this is the right way to approach this project for me, whenever I'll feel like watching/pimping stuff because it's fun to do so, then it will a good time to do it. But forcing yourself is only gonna get you burned out and be bitter about stuff because you can't watch/talk about everything (which I guess is also partly why some people got a negative outcome out of the GWE poll I guess).
-
I signed up. May push some nominations. Not sure how much I'll contribute in the end, kinda like Matt & Gordi.
-
Expectations are a bitch. I watched the event in three days. That probably helps not getting burned out. But despite knowing most of the results, I totally was drawn into Naito vs Okada, to the point where the result didn't bother me. It was just great pro-wrestling from the intros to the post-match. So, is Omega the guy to dethrone Okada before any native can ? Kinda like Steve Williams beat Misawa for the TC before Kawada or Kobashi could ?
