Wrestling Twitter is great if you follow the right people. Lots of cool stuff to be found. Follow people like Loss, KrisZ, Dylan, Brian Last, Allen Cheapshot, Bix, I've got a few old school Memphis accounts that post fun stuff, Naylor posts fun random wrestling gifs, it's all what you make of it.

Yes! Someone else voting ICW, usually I'm alone. 100% agree, they have a serious, hard-edged, non-ironic or meta approach to indy wrestling that is so refreshing. CMLL provides me consistent solid weekly entertainment, something to be said for that. I've gotten into OTT, very fun. I've enjoyed SD and NXT quite a bit this year. I don't like NJPW main events enough to vote them.

I'm curious how this new company would affect WWE. If Vince does make several investments in pro sports and other entertainment, would he manage that company while handling 5 hours of WWE TV a week and everything else a CEO of a billion-dollar company does? Would he step back from creative a bit and give HHH a leash? I could see him doing it for a few weeks before snapping, at least.

Somehow knowing how Dave thinks I can immediately think of what the comparison here would be. Bad for business in both cases, unnecessarily limiting your audience.

Dave has said that there is evidence of the posted texts being edited and a defamation lawsuit being filed against the woman so that's one explanation of his response.

I mean, I get that Dave has probably heard a million horror stories about people in the industry, and there are probably people still active who he has heard horrible stuff about (so many Orton rumors), but he needs to protect himself more in this climate.

I think it was. Yeah we went from SD feeling like this fresh young exciting show to Vince feuding with Stephanie/Hogan/Gowen.

He was out in February 03. I remember because I loved that run so much and hated that it was over.

The only time Heyman has really had booking power since then was OVW and the WWECW run that lead to him quitting because he hated the product so much.

To me the beauty of wrestling is that my favorite two feuds are Jumbo's guys vs Misawa's guys and Austin-McMahon. So different and so great.

Wonder what will happen when Vince wakes up one day and realizes all his guys were replaced by HHH guys . I've long theorized Hunter's long game was to basically do a bloodless coup. Vince is wrestling's Queen Elizabeth and will probably live forever at this rate, I don't see HHH settling for being the Prince Charles of sports entertainment. Come on Vince isn't being outmaneuvered in his own company until he's like 95.

Come on, Chicago in the summer is one of the great cities in the world, so much to do and see. If they hold it in February then I'm with Sleaze.

What is the disconnect in pro wrestling over the past 16 years where we can't connect money marks with good ideas. The stuff that has succeeded has been mostly built from the ground up (UK indy scene comes to mind) while the stuff with money behind it sucks (WhatCulture, 5 Star, this).

So Angle/HHH/Braun/Joe/Finn-Cena/Shane/Orton/Nak/Roode. What the hell, why not? I'll be watching. Why not just do something completely insane that is usually something you would see on a video game. I love it. So many crazy matchups there when you think about it. I'm digging the WWE product with the only hesitation being how much trouble Owens and Zayn are in because they need to carry the SD heel side.

Yeah, he's saying on Twitter that Cena probably wouldn't have increased ticket sales like Omega did, This is almost depressing to me.
