This match is totally phoned in. Randy Savage and Owen Hart are more interesting than either guy in the ring. Donnie Wahlberg's interview via phone is not.

 

Owen's voice whenever he'd lie always made it work. He had NO conviction in his lies at all. "I suppose I gotta help him out again!"

Yep. Phoned in, mailed in, whatever suits you. Bret wasn't always very interesting in TV matches like these.

Hmmm, so how'd this end up making the set? A match other ppl considerd really good/great? Something historicly significant no one's mentioned yet?

Wrong. It was on the original setlist and I liked the idea of such a random matchup.

I think Bret had a match with Jimmy Del Ray on Superstars in 95.

Nice little match but surprised to see it made it on this set. Thought Yoko/Savage would have been included over this just for Savages last chance at the title. It does continue the Bret/Owen feud so I guess I'm okay with the in the end.

Just a give and take match with mostly Pritchard giving and Bret taking. Nothing special here.

This was an average match. Savage was amusing on commentary and Owen's appearance was solid. Not a great segment overall though.

I will echo what everyone else has said. Ok match but nothing special and I have been underwhelmed with Pritchard so far in the ring and on promos.

A piece of ammo for the "Bret would dog it" crowd, as he works this like he's trying not to break a nail. Just an extended squash, with Prichard getting in basically no offense.
