Loss Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Posted November 2, 2012 Pillman wants to talk to Flair and get an explanation for why he turned on Sting. Flair is out - with Woman for the first time - and gets cocky with Pillman. Woman tells Pillman he doesn't know the difference men and boys. He assures Woman that he does, and that he also knows the difference between a lady and a tramp! Flair takes exception and tells Pillman now he's gotta step in the ring later tonight! Great segment. PeteF3 Posted November 5, 2012 Report Posted November 5, 2012 Profanity back when it actually meant something. I'm stunned that two uses of the word "ass" made it onto a taped program. Pillman is great here and Flair and Woman are awesome as usual. Flair shits on the Cincinnati Bengals and Pillman gets in a zinger on Woman, which has an affect on Flair. A match is on for tonight, in this (or that) very ring. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Pillman stands up for Sting and calls out Flair. Ric shows up with Woman along. So he'd been turning her down and now she just appears at his side. Flair issues a challenge to Pillman tonight. Pillman gives us the rundown on Flair’s wardrobe. Quote
soup23 Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Ass being used startled me. Pillman saying he knew the difference between the lady and a tramp was a great moment heightened by Flair's face. Good set up for match later on. Quote
Cox Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Good way to set up their match later in the show. Quote
Laney Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 Great promo to set up a tv main event. Pillman stands up for Sting and a challenge is made. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Classic Flair here. Pillman was good. Woman looks the part as a vixen. Quote
garretta Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Pillman actually holds up against Flair in the promo department here, which is surprising. The stuff about who the Bengals beat wasn't as true then as it would become later in the decade, as they were just a year removed from their trip to Super Bowl XXIII. Woman comes out with Flair just to give him an excuse to defend her honor. Should be a great match. Quote
tjones324 Posted October 28, 2015 Report Posted October 28, 2015 Really good segment. I wasn't expecting profanity at all so I can say it had its intended effect I guess. Quote
drew wardlaw Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Whoa this is awesome. Pullman is impressive here and stands up to Flair, so let's catch the match in the main event! Quote
GSR Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Brian Pillman is with Jim Ross and says that he experiences a very emotional hurt at the Clash of the Champions involving Sting and the Four Horsemen. He says that when he joined the NWA Ric Flair extended his hand to him and said if he could ever do anything for him, he would. So he’s asking him to come out and explain what happened at the Clash. Flair and Woman join them, and Flair says how Pillman came a long way in the short period of time that he had to learn from him when they travelled together, but like everything else in life, things come to an end. Just like Sting and just like everybody else who’s gotten in the way of the Horsemen, things come to an end. Flair tells Pillman that if he doesn’t like what he did or like what he’s saying, then shut him up! Put on tour wrestling tights, get in the ring tonight and shut him up! Woman says that Brian doesn’t know the difference between men and boys, he responds that he does, and he also knows the difference between a lady and a tramp! Flair tells him that was a bad thing to say and he’s got an hour to put on his tights and get in the ring. Pillman tells him to leave his visions of the night life and after hour’s parties in the dressing room because he’s coming after his ass! Really good segment and all three of them were great here. Nice to see Pillman going toe to toe with Flair and he more than holds his own on the promo front with him. Simple and effective way of building a TV main event. Quote
dawho5 Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 I was impressed with Pillman as well. Woman looks incredible every time she comes out. Flair's reaction to Pillman's insult is exactly what you would hope for. Time to teach this young punk a lesson! Quote
Badlittlekitten Posted February 17, 2021 Report Posted February 17, 2021 Great chemistry between Flair and Pillman here. Pillman delivers a great fiery babyface promo. It's always funny to hear 'ass' pre-Stone Cold and it always seems to come from an overexcited Flair. Quote
