Strummer
Hunter was bumping like a mad man in the final segment. Like Steph I think he is enjoying this program. Steph on commentary providing sound effects reminded me when she did guest color all the time during the MCMahon Helmsley stuff and alliance stuff. Vince kinda did that to

Jmare007
The HHH video was fucking outstanding. Like I said last week, the fear in the 70,000 people in the Superdome once Hunter hits that pedigree will be tremendous, and the pop Bryan will get when he kicks out is gonna be amazing. Â I know most of this board hates HHH (I find him overrated but not THAT bad) but I'm amazed how little faith some of you guys have on his match against Bryan. The crowd will be red hot, D-Bry knows how to work as a face in peril and how to mount a comeback, and you can bet your ass he's gonna pull all the stops to have a Wrestlemania classic. Hunter might be mediocre in most long matches but he works way better as a heel and you can tell he wants to elevate Bryan. At the very least I think they'll have a very good match. Â Â PS: I'm gonna need a link for that Bryan promo on the Network
(BP)
There's no way Bryan/HHH is any less than good. I'm more concerned they might get paired in a horrible gimmick match next month.

NintendoLogic
I'm not really feeling Steph's involvement. It's good heeling on her part, but what's it supposed to lead to? It's not like she's going to get put in the Yes Lock or anything like that. How's she supposed to get her comeuppance?
tim
Â Â Bryan just cut a money promo on the post show. They have to air this on TV I loved that segment. Even Wade couldn't help smiling, you just knew everyone at that table knew Bryan was going to win and were loving it. Booker T marking out was awesome. Johnny Sorrow
Why does comeuppance have to be physical? A wife can suffer the indignities of a husband, her comeuppance can be being on the losing side, or maybe Vince comes out at some point and verbally berates her about who exactly owns this company. benj
Even though I learned the meaning of the word comeuppance from the IWC, it's time for the IWC to ban the term comeuppance. #wrongthread
Strummer
Meltz is claiming the long term plan is for Batista to turn back face. I guess they are hinting at that with his interactions with Hunter

That's how retribution in wrestling works. Steph is basically the equivalent of a manager, and managers have to be able to bump. Plus, she's already involved herself physically. Strummer
if this was the Steph of 13/14 years ago she would have been bumping around like crazy for Bryan week after week. I've been watching this shit for nearly 35 years. The idea that Steph can only get hers is by getting beat up is ridiculous. the Grand Wizard never got beat up. goc
Steph isn't the equivalent of a manager, she is an authority figure. It is a well established, separate role from Manager. There have been plenty of authority figures who got their "comeuppance" without ever getting beat up. Vickie Guerrero has been humiliated numerous times, and they had a ball humiliating Eric Bischoff on his way out when he was Raw GM.
