Stiva Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 There's so much low hanging fruit in these promos that Bryan should be attacking.
hammerva Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Wow that "I am 90% sure that she can kick your ass" was a bit much But given Triple H weight training and probable roid usage with her, that actually made be true
Steenalized Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Wow that "I am 90% sure that she can kick your ass" was a bit much It's important to make your opponents look credible even when you insult them. So, yeah...
Stiva Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Yikes, those two can't help themselves. A better promo guy would have been able to slaughter Steph's stuff there especially. She really shouldn't be dishing that sort of thing out if there's going to be no comeuppance for her. HHH, I can understand if/when Bryan pins him.
Log Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 I feel like Steph forgot that it's a work. She's working out some serious self esteem shit in these promos.
hammerva Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 This is going to be so funny/sad if Dolph loses again Glad I was proven wrong Hell yeah they should put Paul Bearer in the HOF. I guess Kane will induct him
The Chief Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 I feel like Steph forgot that it's a work. She's working out some serious self esteem shit in these promos. I felt the same thing when she was ripping apart Big Show last year.
Matt D Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Which is part of what makes Dusty's hand to the face so damn funny.
Strummer Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 I'm wondering if Steph took acting classes or has done so many corporate gigs that she just got better. She doesn't screech anymore and annunciates much better. Watch a promo from her from 2000-2002 and it seems like a different person
Strummer Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 No doubt there is some frustration coming out of her for all the criticism she took for the 13 years she was head of creative. I think it's a constant attempt to prove herself.
goodhelmet Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 I am digging the slow burn dissolving of the Real Americans
The Chief Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 A Real Americans vs Big E triple threat at Mania with Swagger and Cesaro trying to one up each other wouldn't be the worst idea.
goodhelmet Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 At this point, we are dangerously close to three or four triple threats. You possibly have... Batista vs. Orton vs. Punk (or Bryan) Rollins vs. Reigns vs. Ambrose Real Americans vs. Big E
hammerva Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 They are really trying to make this live Main event show special with Bryan vs Kane and the tag title match. Has to be a good year and half since Bryan wrestled on Main Event
sek69 Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Someone should tell Cena that mentioning he's doing the same thing now he did in 2002 is kind of the reason 75% of the audience is sick of him.
Blazer Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Sean, there are those us -- myself, El-P, some others too -- who have completely given up on it. There's enough footage from the 80s alone probably to last me a lifetime. To be honest, when there's the entirety of any given promotion you care to name from 1985 to watch, I can't see any reason at all to devote any of my wrestling time to watching this week's RAW. Once I've seen all of the 80s sets, all of the 90s yearbooks, every single NWA and WCW PPV, and any other disc here that I happen to have, maybe I'll consider watching RAW again then. This concept is similar to my view at this point. I'm just going back now and devouring 80s videos. I've been out of the current product for years with no intention of coming back.
Stiva Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Oh, man. WWE worked everybody. Just a shame that their Mania card sucks.
Jmare007 Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Regardless of the no show by Punk, this was a great RAW. D-Bry vs HHH feels more important after what happened tonight, at least now I'm interested. And Orton has to be the worst booked champ since Mysterio, right?
goodhelmet Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Well Paul Heyman did say he wouldn't be there.
