Marty Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 So Scott Armstrong is corporate heel ref who fucked Bryan by fast counting the pin, knowing the win wouldn't count? Cool. I do wonder what this means for Orton? Actually, I'm getting my answer. Smart storyline.
KanadianKrusty Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I'd like to thank Dusty for the awesome Hard Times remix, just a great promo.
Dylan Waco Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I literally laughed out loud at that, though I'm not sure that was the desired response That being the comically awful Big Show/Dusty stuff
Exposer Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I thought it was a really great segment. Dusty's sell of the KO punch did make me laugh out loud though.
hammerva Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 All I want was one "MAKE IT LOOK GOOD". That is all I asked.
Slasher Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I am already tired of the Big Show part of the corporation angle.
tim Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I actually liked that segment overall but they need to step on it with taking this Show angle somewhere. They'll lose the crowd if the same stuff goes on much longer.
tigerpride Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I thought the segment was awesome, especially Big Show catching him. Big Show is going to have to stand up for himself soon though
MJH Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Using The Shield to force Dusty to pick between Dustin and Cody? Good. The Big Show stuff? Good God.
KrisZ Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Armstrongs & Rhodes now with common ground
Slasher Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Armstrongs & Rhodes now with common ground How so? It was strongly implied Armstrong was in on that fast count with Triple H. His firing was for show. The line, "I am going to take care of you" says it all.
KanadianKrusty Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Pretty sure his dad was assistant tour manager for Spinal Tap at some point
hammerva Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Are we sure those are the Miz's parents or the last remaining extras from the Mick Foley Lost in Cleveland segments I expect a good 5 minutes from Bryan and Meltz on those parents and the glee they will get from that beatdown.
Smack2k Posted September 17, 2013 Author Report Posted September 17, 2013 BEST SIGN EVER TONIGHT.... The Voices In My Head Say YOU SUCK!!! that is fantastic...
goodhelmet Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Dear God, I really enjoyed this entire Miz-Orton segment. I can dig Maniac Headbutting Orton and Miz selling the shoulder almost the entire time and showing fire was not what I was expecting. WTF Dad! Grab his fucking legs. I like Cena's dad better. Man, loved the jumping knee on the chair. If Orton takes out Kofi next week the same way, he may be my favorite wrestler ever.
Nighthawk Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 The best part of this is just how easy JBL has fallen into the role of corporate toady. Like he was made to do it.
Slasher Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 This is the kinda angle you see a guy like Hogan, Cena or any other tippy top babyface intervene in... so where's DB? Is he banging Brie somewhere in the back or something?
KrisZ Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Scott didn't think he would get fired....and there is already storyline stuff on Twitter about Road Dogg
Nighthawk Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 This is the kinda angle you see a guy like Hogan, Cena or any other tippy top babyface intervene in... so where's DB? Is he banging Brie somewhere in the back or something? I think this is where the WWE face structure falls flat. Ever since Austin, the amount of faces who do the right thing is miniscule.
KanadianKrusty Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 WHEELCHAIR HEYMAN! This would be even better if his stable wasn't Lesnar + the JOB Squad
Ricky Jackson Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I loved the Miz-Orton segment, and I usually dislike both guys. Dusty being rushed on a stretcher to the ambulance was a bit much.
goodhelmet Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 WHEELCHAIR HEYMAN! This would be even better if his stable wasn't Lesnar + the JOB Squad They aren't quite JOB squad but Not Over Squad seems appropriate.
Slasher Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 When Heyman mentioned other Heyman guys sitting, I got this hope there will be a Ryback vs Lesnar match.
