Todd Pettengill hits the VIP lounge to talk to the WWF superstars on site. Goldust and Marlena are interrupted by a furious Bob Backlund, who can't believe how much cleavage Marlena is showing. Vince points out that she looks "mighty fine" while Sunny isn't impressed.

Yes. Probably because Goldust just had turned babyface after answering an emphatic NO to the homophobic question by Lawler (so since he's no "queer", he can be a babyface now… well…).

Marlena looked amazingly hot at this point, and yeah, her exposing herself (only filmed from the back, although a bunch of pictures were obviously taken judging by the flashes (pun intended)) is an "iconic" moment. Plus it follows an as-good-as-it-can-be-in-that-small-ring match between Goldust and the Sultan, during which you can hear chants like "Fatu !", "Let's go Dustin !" and then "Fatu sucks !". Gotta love Backlund almost having a seizure when Marlena exposes herself (she did had her tits covered though) and Todd Pettengill announcing Marlena as the winner of the match, to the dismay of Sunny, acting all bitchy and jealous. Yeah, if stuff like these had been only part of that kind of show, once a month, it would have been quite fun instead of having sleaze and nonsense all the time during the Attitude Era.

Marlena does look great. Backlund freaks out about her cleavage, but by the end of the show he'd see a lot more than that.

The Rock & Mascarita Sagrada sitting near each other in an NYC bar is amazing. Backlund can't believe Marlena's outfit & is offended by her cleavage. The highlight is Backlund scolding The Sultan for looking.

I guess Marlena exposing herself didn't make the set but yeah the precursor to Debra. Sunny being all jealous and catty was great. Sunny pointing out how she was surprised how well Sultan was faring even with his lack of experience goes to show that Sunny wasn't all gimmick and she could have been a phenomenal commentator. Sunny promises a hot, erotic home video in response to Marlena's reveal well just tickle me pink with excitement 😋

Agreed on Sunny with the subtle jealousy being fun. She was the best. Marlena was also stupid hot in '97 and I'll never not love old man Backlund going apeshit about whatever nonsense.
