Remember when AJPW produced awesome cards that rivalled NJPW's? At least they got the TC off Doering, that was a bizarre decision putting the titles on him. I also think that Shiozaki may still end up in NJPW at some point.

Glad to hear they'll be some people awake tonight so I don't feel like I'm watching this "in a bubble," so to speak. Attempting to get Dylan to join me (which he seems to want to do so this should happen). Shoe, I'll be looking for you on Twitter. Might just have to download the app to my phone. NOT a big Twitter guy at all, but the laptop is going to be full screen and HDMI-cabled into the TV.

Remember when AJPW produced awesome cards that rivalled NJPW's? At least they got the TC off Doering, that was a bizarre decision putting the titles on him. I also think that Shiozaki may still end up in NJPW at some point.

 

To be fair a lot of the high end AJPW stuff this year has rivaled, or been better than, NJPW's best stuff. There's not as much of it, and NJPW is still far better overall, but I think AJPW gets sold short on their present day quality.

Agree with being sold short from a high end match perspective but I have rarely seen top to bottom awesome AJPW cards recently.

Barring some unforeseen disaster I'll be watching this show live. The other day on Twitter I ranked the matches in order of my interest, so I figured I'd bring that over here as well. I'll steal the Voices of Wrestling gimmick and rank my over all interest in match on a scale of 1-10 next to each bout in parenthesis.
