El Boricua
Could Los Medicos be added to the list of tag teams? By July 10 they win the NA Tag titles, so it's very likely they were already in PR by the start date.
KrisZ
Totally forgot them thanks
El Boricua
Thanks Kris. Â I actually agree with Flyin' Brian about having to draft teams together. It adds another element to the draft.

KrisZ
I think it was 1986
Dylan Waco
Probably right. I am planning my strategy of packing Portland with underrated miscreants.
El Boricua
When did Maleo Huertas debut? Not sure when, but most likely 85-86. He's definitely around by 86.
Beast
I guess for the midnight express too. Â What about picking one member of a team? I know someone mentioned just wanting Ricky steamboat but not wanting to have to spend a pick on Jay Youngblood. Personally I think that the designated teams should have to be drafted together, but it's up to the bookers what they want to do after that. Â I see this point, but I'd rather be able to split up teams for drafting if necessary. Â I didn't think Grimmas got an answer regarding Steamboat, and if he wants to change his pick to that I think it's fine.

RocketCrypt
It seems the drafting of tag teams is the last thing that needs clarifying before we can draft. Â I would personally say that tag team wrestlers do not always have to be drafted together. Â Anyone disagree?
JerryvonKramer
Separately I say. I mean for some (Steamboat, Brisco) there's obvious value in them as singles. For others, the tag partner's value plummets of you take the partner (just as an example, Robert Gibson), so you'll probably be able to pick him up cheap later. RocketCrypt
Yeah it allows for more freedom and flexibility while also adding an element of strategy to the draft.
Grimmas
I say teams together, because there are so few and its kind of like cheating taking Morton early, because Gibson will be a low pick and you can take him way later.
goc
No because not all teams are that closely linked together. Some of them would be split up in 6 months like The Midnight Express. RNR Express really hadn't been teaming all that long and weren't a big money team yet, they could easily have been separated. Â Plus if someone took Ricky Morton early then with so many other people in the draft, isn't it likely someone is going to take Robert Gibson before them just out of spite/strategy?
JerryvonKramer
And lesser partners in other teams (e.g. Youngblood, Jerry Brisco) might easily have a role outside of the team.
goc
On the more obvious teams, there is no way you could get away with drafting one early and trying to take the other later. No one is going to let you get away with doing that with The Road Warriors or The Freebirds or The Fabs. Â And you definitely shouldn't have to take a team like Bobby Fulton & Terry Taylor together considering how short their run as a tag team is. The option to draft as a tag should be there but not a rule that you must.

Flyin' Brian
Probably need to clarify who the promotion owners are for drafting purposes. Places that had owner/wrestlers will end up not having to draft them I guess?

KrisZ
If you go that route then you would have some saves that need to be changed
Boon
Just to clarify, do our save picks have to be someone from the initial rosters listed by KrisZ? Or can the be anyone?
