Grimmas
I think it should be first come first serve but you can only work between the tours unless guys are actually on excursions So I can draft Fujinami, but only use him between NJ tours??? dedhemingway
JVK already setting up to try and run us out of business everyone. I think maybe we need to band together and make sure we're prepared to fight the WWF. He did try and call the WWF Championship the 'World Title', so I guess what I'm saying is... 'Night gathers, and so my watch begins, it shall not end until I am bought out by the WWF, I shall take no champion, hold no other territory, begin no wars. I shall claim no title, share my glory. I shall live and die in my territory. I am the suplex in the ring. I am the hot tag on the apron. I am the shield that guards the Alliance. I pledge my promotion and honor to the National Wrestling Alliance for this card, and all the cards to come.' As for St. Louis, obviously I'd love to have it in my loop, but if the decision comes down to go another way, I'm not going to pitch a fit. Regarding Matysik since he is floating around right now I think he is fair game for anyone to hire as an announcer I'll take him, seems like he'd fit perfectly with us. KrisZ
I wouldn't draft any of the Japanese guys just work with the promotions. I don't think Matysik would want to work for Central States right now

I'm still trying to do research on Central States, so I'm not aware of all the politics at the time. 1983 is a little out of my wheelhouse, a little before my time. peachchaos
I don't like where this is going...Stu Hart had fostered a relationship with NJPW in the early 80's that took years to bring to fruition (and it's literally one of the only highlights of Stampede Wrestling). I think Stampede is going to have a bid advantage when young boys get sent out on tour.
peachchaos
I don't like the idea of mixing reality with fantasy so much here. If the gaijin workers have to make the dates they worked IRL, then the Japanese talent should follow suit in my opinion. If we want to make the Japanese talent available for select dates they didn't actually work, then we should have a separate draft for them or put them into the freelancer category. JerryvonKramer
I think Japanese workers should be considered off-limits unless they ACTUALLY WORKED the US that year. In TEW, for example, lots of the Japanese guys have a "only works in Japan" tag.

goc
Throwing an idea out there since there seems to be a "no expansion/competition" vibe here, is someone attempting to compete in the same market completely out of the question? With certain markets out there that don't really fit into anyone's geographical "region' it would make sense to have some kind of squabbling over Ohio, California, Detroit, etc. at the very least. An idea I like is if you want to expand to a territory, and somebody else does, you both (or all four or whatever number of people get in there) post a big show there, and people vote on what they think would be the better draw for the area, and whoever wins the poll gets that territory, or some kind of bonus points.
