Don Owen, Sandy Barr, Tom Peterson, and Granny, on behalf of Don Owen Sports and Pacific Northwest wrestling, are listening to trade offers for Pat Paterson and Ray Stevens. Given the star power and international appeal of these talents, the Portland office believes their may be interest in them as a unit, however offers for each individual will be considered. All offers should be made via PM, and must be made by 3AM EST 6/16.

Will Tom Peterson throw in a new TV?

Southwest Championship Wrestling would like to announce that it has come to another trading agreement with Southeastern Championship Wrestling! This accord will see Dirty Rhodes from Southeastern team with Don Bass from Southwest in both promotions on a 50/50 sharing agreement.

Don Bass & Dirty Rhodes will first be seen in Southeastern and then migrate to Southwest once their run is finished up Southastern.

Mr. Joe Blanchard is thrilled about this agreement that allows him the use of a great tag team at the cost of only 1 fat singing cowboy.

Southwest Championship Wrestling is pleased to announce a sharing agreement with Championship Wrestling from Florida involving Jim Duggan and Manny Fernandez. This agreement will see Manny Fernandez appear on loan to Southwest for 3 months while Duggan is appearing for CWF for the same length of time. All contract rights are retained by original draftees.

This ends any other ongoing negotiations for Jim Duggan.

Every time they mentioned Tom Peterson, I kept expecting the bass player for Cheap Trick to show up.

Central States is still looking for 1-2 entrants for the July 4th Missouri Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Big names are not needed (read: the second round and finals are already set), but the matches will be shown on the USA Network, so it's good exposure for both the competitor and your territory.

Deals for return dates by Central States contracted wrestlers are available, if needed.

Would you take El Gran Apollo? I am fine with a clean first round loss, Joe Blanchard just wants to get the kid some exposure. Let him put up a fight, get some shine and then he can eat a clean pin would be fine.

Southwest Championship Wrestling would look at this as a favor and need nothing in return.

The WWF is currently listening to prospective offers for "The Bret Hart Developmental slot". See here for an example of schedule:

http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/31219-world-wrestling-federation/?p=5676949

The slot is for 3 months and goes something like this:

- TV show 1: youngster over jobber

- TV show 2: youngster over jobber

- TV show 3: youngster over JTTS

- TV show 4: star heel over youngster

Rinse-repeat x 2.

This is also known as "The Rick McGraw".

Your young worker would fly in and out of Washington or Allentown every Wednesday and be back in his home territory by the weekend. He would not work house shows, only TV.

The WWF is willing to listen to any offers for this deal. It offers useful experience and exposure since WWF syndicated TV goes all across the country and is a favourite for coverage with the Apter mags.

Will you take El Gran Apollo for this? Straight up. You take him. I don't give you anything but him and you give me nothing but the exposure and experience.

Good looking young guy to help fill out your TV.

Central States are pleased to announce that agreements have been reached for both Dick Slater and Jim Neidhart to appear on the big July 4th Missouri Heavyweight Championship card.

(Not sure if I'm supposed to announce in here, or if doing it in my own thread is sufficient.)

Joe Blanchard is slightly miffed that the WWF has yet to announce it's latest deal with Southwest Championship Wrestling. Joe feels that this may be a slight on him and his talent if the WWF is not happy publicly announcing their latest agreement. He will be monitoring this situation closely.

Killer Khan and Mr. Saito will be switching promotions for July/August summer heat run.

This does not effect Mr. Saito's previously agreed upon date with Stampede for July, 7th. Joe Blanchard strives to be a man of his word and made sure to clear this date with Maple Leaf Wrestling before the deal was finalized.

The WWF is pleased to announce the latest recipient of its coveted developmental scheme: El Gran Apollo. The youngster is set to be lighting up WWF Challenge with his high energy feats. We're delighted to welcome him for the next three months.

You accept Apolo, but not the youngster Tony Garea? Bias!

Joe Blanchard feels that El Gran Apollo is a talent worthy of being seen on Superstars along with Challenge but I have advised him that this deal is perfectly fine for all of us. As long as El Gran Apollo receives the first class travel arrangements that Southwest requires any time one of it's contracted wrestlers will be appearing for another promotion.

It sounds so nefarious when you say scheme...almost as if someone would be whispering about the benefits of wrestling in New York in their ear while they're up there.

I will now be forced to spend the remainder of my day talking Joe Blanchard out of telling El Gran Apollo he has to wear a wire in the WWF locker room.

Check the NWA Stampede Wrestling thread for a press release sent out by The Harts concerning training at the Dungeon.

A three-week course would prepare your rookie talent for the grueling realities of the sport of wrestling and give them the prestige of training with the World Famous Hart Family.

Tuition is free, provided we can showcase the rookie talent on TV and house shows for a period of three weeks.

The WWF is pleased to confirm the latest developmental scheme candidate, Bobby Eaton. The youngster will spend at least three months honing his skills on WWF weekly television. Some say the young man has picked up a penchant for rulebreaking, it remains to be seen if this will continue in the WWF.
