El-P
Ok, no idea where to put this. Last night, I had this strange dream where I was basically wrestling Jimmy Snuka, who looked more or less like Finn Balor, and doing the same kind of routine with the entrance and makeup. And I caned him until he bled. NO IDEA WHY. Floor is yours. Or not.
Coffey
Tomorrow, your recurring nightmare continues, with Superfly chucking you off a balcony for making him bleed, brudda.
ButchReedMark
When I was 14 or so I had a dream about Curt Hennig grabbing a mic on Nitro and announcing his retirement by singing the words "Where is Barry (Windham)?" to the tune of the fucking awful "No Matter What" by Boyzone and also off some shit musical. NotJayTabb
I had a dream a while back that the tag team of the Attitude Enforcers, John Cena and Arn Anderson, were getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. I only remember this as I thought it was a cynical way of being able to refer to Cena as a HOF member on TV without having to give him an individual induction whilst still active. I also had a dream this week where I was on the WWE creative team. In my dream, Naomi got injured, so I suggested to Vince that Sasha be paired with a reunited Laycool, who would later turn on her and turn out to be in cahoots with Naomi (I accept in the cold light of day this makes no sense). Maybe wisely, Vince rejected it and I woke up.

Sean Liska
Literally had a dream the other night that I found out both Flair and Lawler had cancer. The Piper/Dusty deaths hit me I guess.
The Chief
Ages ago had a dream that PG-13 wrestled on Raw as the Cyberpunks. Cyberpunks meant cyborgs. They wrestled two lumberjack jobbers. One of the cyborgs just immediately shot a laser out of his cyborg eye and blew the lumberjacks head off. Vince was announcing and did the serious voice. Then Marty Janetty or someone came out for a match like nothing happened.
Loss
I've said before my first vivid memory in wrestling was Barry Windham turning on Lex Luger to join the Four Horsemen. Well, I dreamed around that time that Barry turned into an alligator and started gnawing on Luger in the middle of a match. Then there was a pin-up of it in one of the cheap non-Apter mags. Jingus
I haven't stepped foot inside a locker room in over six years, but I still have stress-panic dreams of trying to make it to bookings and having transportation troubles. Johnny Sorrow
I'd imagine that the old "I showed up at work in my underwear" nightmare doesn't work on wrestlers.
Jingus
No, usually it's just "oh shit, I walked through the curtain naked" and either you're desperately trying to cover up or keep the fans from seeing you. Bret Hart's repeatedly mentioned another common one, where you're completely undressed and unready in the locker room, but suddenly your music's playing and it's time to go and the promoter is screaming at you to get your ass out there, and you can't even find your damn boots... ButchReedMark
I don't drive, so I'm possibly one of the only people in wrestling fucking stupid enough to rely on public transport to get from show to show. And this is in rural Wales which has terrible travel links (4 and a half hours to go 50 miles on a train in one case) so I occasionally dream I've missed my bus/train, or the train pulls into the station but the doors don't open so I can't get off and it pulls away with me on it and I miss the show. Strummer
I've had several wrestling dreams over the past 30 years or so but the last one I vividly remember was around 2002 or so with Stephanie opening Raw with a promo and she starts to strip in the ring and Vince and HHH frantically run in to cover her with their sports jackets. Jingus
And this is in rural Wales which has terrible travel links (4 and a half hours to go 50 miles on a train in one case)Still better than America. There are MASSIVE sections of this country in which public transportation literally doesn't exist. The nearest bus stop to my house is five miles away, and the nearest train stop is twenty miles away, because apparently rural America's motto is "fuck trains". S.L.L.
I had a dream last night in which I was the latest in a string of relatives to spend the night in the same hotel room. Each one who stayed there left behind a short note of some kind, usually a political joke of some kind. I don't remember much about those, but I vividly remember the one that was an exception to the rule - a very elderly female relative from the old country (who does not exist in real life, FWIW), left a note that was entirely in Russian...except for the last line, in which she proclaimed her love for Memphis wrestling. I appreciate my unconscious mind's attempt at connecting the dots between my Jewish Ukrainian heritage and my love of Jerry Lawler, but I'm not sure I can do it consciously. pantherwagner
There's one I haven't thought about in a about 15-17 years which is when I guess I had it. I was doing either some college entrance exam or already in college doing a computer engineering test. If it's the latter case it would likely be a physics or maths test, because I remember the room where it happened, and we only did those exams there. Anyway, I had a mental block and I looked to the side and El Hijo del Santo was there next to me and he slipped me the answers to the exam. I know he was Santo because he was weating the mask, of course. I took the cheat sheet, did my thing and then realised that on my other side Lioness Asuka was trying to peek at my exam to find the answers. Must have been a pretty good class. goc
I had probably the weirdest/scariest dream of my life last night. I had a dream, that among other things, I was hanging out with Jerry Lawler. We were hanging out at his house and talking about old Memphis stuff and then somehow he stole my soul in an effort to keep himself young. So then after he swerved me I was just floating around in outer space and couldn't move. I realized I was dreaming so I tried to do all those things you do when you realize that you're dreaming and want to wake up but none of it worked so I was freaking out that I was actually dead. It was fucked up. And the whole dream felt like it lasted forever but when I woke up it was less than 2 hours after I fell asleep.

Laz
That was definitely a dream. Not just because you woke up, but because we all know Lawler does the Bathory method of staying youthful.
Death From Above
This thread is amazing and I wish I remembered my dreams more often. I only do so extremely rarely. Almost always when I do it's a nightmare too. I remember like one pleasant dream I've had in all of 2015. Can't actually remember a wrestling dream and I'm sad because this thread deserves more. :-)
MikeCampbell
When I was seven or eight years old, probably 1990 or 91. I had a dream that I got to randomly hang out with the Four Horsemen. Childhood Mike's version of this, is literally just talking to them casually, nothing like what it would have been like to hang out with them for real during those day. El-P
Just dreamed of Mania this night. Taker was facing Bray Wyatt. When the lights went back after the intro, it appeared that Taker was sporting some kind of judo outfit, red and yellow mind you. And the time I blinked an eye and Bray was defeated by some sort of magic trick with one finger. Then Bray Wyatt's body levitated and you could see the ropes and cables, so it looked stupid as hell. And then, as the camera panned over the crowd, you could see a bunch of cocktail tables at floor level. And the next act was Chris Jericho and Eric Bischoff doing some sort of dancing routine, like a musical, with a bunch of dancers around them too, before doing a interview segment. Yeah. I know.
