Matt D Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 We should have a pool on the exact length of Triple H's promo tonight. Quote
dexstar Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Apparently the tournament is starting tonight Nitpicking here, but if that means it's like a 16 (or if they are getting wild, a 32) guy thing that leads to Survivor Series it's really silly they didn't put out some brackets beforehand to let people make ridiculous pools. Loss Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Tournament victories feel more earned when the whole thing happens in one night. Quote
Russellmania Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Tournament victories feel more earned when the whole thing happens in one night. yeah earlier I had started to say that it annoys me that they are apparently not doing it all in one night but gave up b/c i didn't really know how to articulate why. This is one reason for sure. Quote
Matt D Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 I wouldn't mind them going from 32 to 16 beforehand, though. Quote
dexstar Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 My ideal would be start with 32 tonight and then cut it down to 8 for the Survivor Series, finish it there. Best of both worlds! Quote
Matt D Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 One advantage with Survivor Series is that they can still get a lot of guys on the card while focusing on a select 2-4 in multiple matches through the magic of traditional elimination matches. Quote
Coffey Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 I would guess it's eight people. Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, Ryback, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens & Dolph Ziggler. Not many exciting names. Not any exciting or fresh match-ups. They'll use the early rounds to eliminate the wrestlers that they have other Survivor Series plans for, like Bray. Quote
dexstar Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Brackets are all over the Twitter if you want spoilers Quote
Coffey Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Brackets are all over the Twitter if you want spoilers I just saw them... and shook my head. A couple interesting matches though, which I'm sure they'll want me to watch Smackdown to see. Quote
Loss Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 The booking of Bray will be interesting, since he has only lost matches to John Cena and Undertaker (and recently Roman Reigns). But yeah, some wild cards thrown in would be nice. Quote
RCS1988 Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Probably 2 semi's and the final at the PPV. There will be an elimination match probably 4 on 4. Quote
WingedEagle Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Love this Triple H promo. Sets up a Reigns turn at SS or someone else going over on him. Very curious to see how the booking and matches are laid out tonight. Quote
Coffey Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Triple H promo was good. Big Show going that long was bad. Owens/Titus could be fun. Commercials are killing me tonight. It's also very apparent that WWE is editing the crowd. Quote
The Chief Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Owens vs Titus. Yeah, this is my jam Quote
...TG Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Owens vs Titus. Yeah, this is my jam Well, It was fun while it lasted. I forget how big Titus is - Owens isn't small and he towered over him. Quote

I forget how big Titus is - Owens isn't small and he towered over him. Give these guys ten minutes. Titus nearly blasting him through the barricade was great. Quote
hammerva Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 They really don't see much in Becky Lynch based on the last month or so. She has been eating lots of pins. Tonight was kind of a squash match with a fluke finish. Didn't really get any offense at all in the match as well Like that they are putting some of these matches are Smackdown since I can't remember the last time anything relevant has happened on that show Quote
...TG Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Anyone else noticing a ton of crowd sweetening tonight? Boos seem to be kicking in a little late, cheers popping up at odd times. Quote
hammerva Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 I don't think it is sweetening but more trying to keep it quiet. According to report that crowd went crazy for Paige and it was almost quiet except for a brief but really loud boo when Charlotte show up Quote
Death From Above Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Back to back tournament matches using the same "guy eating offense wins with flash finisher" less than half an hour apart. Come on man. Quote
hammerva Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Man either Alberto Del Rio is really tired or really bored because he offered absolutely nothing tonight. That was all Zeb trying to get heat Quote
Jmare007 Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 I hope they give Reigns and Cesaro a good amount of time, That can be an awesome match. It's such a shame Fella is so uninteresting as a character and the crowd barely cares about him (not that booking has given them any reason to care about him in the last 3 years). Dude is a great worker. Quote
...TG Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Breeze and Ambrose got plenty of time and Breeze looked good, but jobbing him out on his debut? Quote
