I turned in during the Nakamura match. Match was solid, but him completely blowing off the leg work was pretty annoying.

He did blow it up. Not sure why Aries quit on it either. Really liked the tease of the leg and neck that he focused on early but then just dropped. Thought the finish was great and conclusive without needing a ton of near falls or any craziness.

So what's the deal with Nia Jax? They give her ring music that sounds fitting for Maryse or Eva Marie, but outfit her like the heel from The Little Mermaid.

If we are going to blame anyone for not selling in the match, how about Aries having taped ribs and having not one bit of impact to the match. That is the only thing that bothered me. Although that was easily Aries best matches in such a long time.

Well, Corey sort of pre-emptively covered for the rib tape, speculating that Aries was wearing it to throw Nakamura off.

I really like how Jax works. Simple, methodical, and always great use of the visual size difference between her and the other girls.

Yeah Nia Jax has improved so much lately for someone who is still pretty new to this. Someone told her to get more mean and nasty and you can tell that she is doing it. Still needs a better finisher because a leg drop is just too ordinary

I would not expect Asuka to be the one out of these two to be the one to utilize ass-based offense.

I am completely sold on Jax. She knows how to use her size, how to sell on her feet and then gradually more before going down. Really impressed with her in all big matches thus far.

That was fun as hell. Loved Nia's defiant scream before getting knocked out.

That scream was some straight up Jurassic Park madness. Jax got robbed!!

That was a really good match that told the correct story. Nia Jax is a monster due to power, but Asuka is a monster just do to sheer force. Once it came to Asuka's strikes, Nia had no answer for that.

That match fucking ruled. I liked how Asuka looked like she was trying to rip Jax's arm off before the end.

Asuka/Jax wasn't too shabby at all. Kind of like a poor man's Vader/Takada.

Nia's come a long way. I wish they would have let that scream settle in for a few more seconds but that's nitpicking.

The way NXT is shot is such a breath of fresh air compared to watching the WWE shows.

I know it is meaningless but even the set up of a cage seems cooler in NXT than the WWE with the sides separating like they did

Well the cameras butchered it but that was an enjoyable main event. I actually didn't see the Super Muscle Buster coming.
