ShittyLittleBoots Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 Lots of great ones mentioned in the thread already. One that came instantly to my mind that hasn't been mentioned yet is Daniel Bryan. Couldn't find any GIFs with a quick search from google, but I thought his punches always looked really damn good, especially when they were a big part of his comeback sequence during his big babyface run in WWE.
SmartMark15 Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Feel like Tyler Bate throws some pretty good ones. His fake out KO blow looks great and when he got into his slugfest with Pete Dunne, it looked and sounded great.
topropepodcast Posted October 31, 2017 Report Posted October 31, 2017 Juice Robinson has really good punches.
pol Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Kaz Hayashi is one you never hear anyone talk about.
joeg Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 Roman Reigns... I'm watching his WM vs Taker... his right uppercut reminds me of Kabuki
dawho5 Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 Roman Reigns... I'm watching his WM vs Taker... his right uppercut reminds me of Kabuki That is a great compliment to give anyone. I know Kabuki is not a huge favorite, but the man knows how to throw an uppercut.
SmartMark15 Posted May 12, 2018 Report Posted May 12, 2018 Ronda Rousey's punches from Mania this year were fantastic.
aguakun Posted May 12, 2018 Report Posted May 12, 2018 Danshoku Dino has a mean punch when he's not humping around.
Boss Rock Posted May 15, 2018 Report Posted May 15, 2018 Did Tenryu work a lot of punches earlier in his career? He had some really good ones in a few of the 2000's matches I've seen him in.
SmartMark15 Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Daniel Bryan really upped his punching game since the return.
Boss Rock Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Interestingly enough he mentioned in an interview months ago how much he wanted to punch like Lawler, ha.
SmartMark15 Posted May 17, 2018 Report Posted May 17, 2018 Interestingly enough he mentioned in an interview months ago how much he wanted to punch like Lawler, ha. I see more of an Eaton influence with the way he swings but I've definitely noticed how good they look.
HeadCheese Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 Nobody said Mecha Mummy, where's the love for Mecha Mummy http://4thletter.net/wp-content/uploads//7balconpunch.gif
Loss Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 A good time to mention how much I dislike the uppercut punching that Undertaker and Reigns do. Just a personal taste thing -- there's nothing wrong with it. I also don't like European uppercuts or non-Misawa people doing Misawa elbows for the most part.
NintendoLogic Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 European uppercuts are fantastic. At the very least, they seem like they'd be more likely to end a match than chops to the chest.
brockobama Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 I'm contractually obligated to throw Smith Garrett in the mix here. Speaking of uppercuts I'm glad they're relatively rare, all things considered. A bad uppercut to me is way worse than most bad punches. Maybe not so bad as a weak elbow because those should be almost foolproof.
Superstar Sleeze Posted June 1, 2018 Author Report Posted June 1, 2018 Woah, I don't think I have ever disagreed more with Loss. Absolutely love those style uppercuts. Dustin Rhodes and Roman both throw a great punch. Roman is a fantastic puncher. European Uppercuts rule the school whether it is Dory Funk Junior or Cesaro I love them. Yes more elbows too! How can you not love AJ Styles or Chris Hero's elbows?
