Exactly what I feared, even the undercard matches are going overlong and aiming at looking *big* instead of just being efficient. These two lost me completely. As stupid as Shane vs AJ was, it was at least kinda fascinating to watch in its absurdity. Quote

"One of the better matches on the show" was his description last year of AJ's inability to carry Jericho to a match as good as the one to which he just carried Shane. Owens-Jericho stunk. Jericho’s spot-calling is worse than ever. I know we'll all be piling on with petty grievances all night long, so I don't want to belabor it, but the champ coming out first is really dumb, especially for this match. It's transparent in all the wrong ways that even when she isn't the champ, Charlotte must be presented as vastly superior to everyone else in the division. "Queen City" indeed. Quote

I get the term and understand its application to stuff like HHH/Taker, but this seemed like a regular wrestling match. Didn't go too long, no real finisher spam, etc. Quote
