We say that every other show and it usually turns out good. The only thing that looks outright bad is the three-way, and Nattie-Charlotte will probably be boring, but the rest looks promising.

The card doesn't do much for me, but over the last year the low expectation cards have tended to overdeliver.

I've got incredibly low expectations, which usually leads to a pleasant surprise. But this is one hell of a tough lineup.

That's what I was thinking about. Usually on-paper bad cards turn out to be good, but we never know.

I was hoping they wouldn’t do the old predictable “steal the pin” finish in that match and would just move on from Corbin as US champ. Ziggler is what he is but maybe it can freshen up that title at least a little.

- This dramatically over-delivered after a slow start. Big spots that were well chained together and captured the crowd. I even appreciated their wrinkle on the steal the pin trope they often rely on. Really fun opener.

Well I was wrong about the three-way, as that was actually pretty good. The crowd was definitely into it and it didn't overstay its welcome. And the finish was clever.

Btw, has anyone had a more strange year booking wise than Corbin? Constantly comes up short against Ambrose at the beginning of the year, wins mitb, then is completely buried while losing his cash in, then wins .US title only to lose it to a guy who never wins and has been around forever

Yeah, those looked pretty reckless, namely the one on Rusev and the one on Aiden.

The tag title match fell short of expectations as much as the US Title exceeded them. Bad chaos throughout before a fun finish.

The 3 way was far better than it had any chance of being. I thought it was a lock Roode was going to go over after the slingshot into the post.

 

The 4 way was forgettable until the finish which was nuts namely due to Gable dumping Rusev, Aiden and Big E on their heads with those Chaos Theories.
