I just read that Enzo in an interview with Corey Graves said amoung other things, he was the modern day Ric Flair. I dont think he was working. Anyone think he's going to make it to the end of the year before he's cut?

Surely he means in regards to partying and trash talking on the mic. Not in the ring. I have not seen the video. But I can only imagine that is what he means. If it is the case of partying and trash talk, he is not wrong. So whats the big deal? I don't get why there is so much heat on this guy, but then again I don't have to work with him. I am happy to watch a pro wrestler be a pro wrestler on my screen. I am a big Enzo supporter. I don't get the backlash against him at all.

It's obviously in reference to the character/partying as has been mentioned but I don't expect the guy to come out and say he's a shitty worker in his interviews either. Let him live the gimmick.

Yeah but when the gimmick he's living is to emulate wrestling's greatest cautionary tale who isn't named Jake Roberts it's not something that should be lauded.

This thread was dumb since day one anyway. This guy was a piss-poor performer on every level (never bought the "great promo" argument either). Yeah, past tense seems like a better idea.

He's one of the better promos in WWE, and he did bring interest to 205 Live so he did move numbers. Unfortunately everything that came out about him behind the scenes at best made him sound like the guy who let sucess get to his head and become an entitled asshole, and at worst....well.... this.

People need to get off fucking Twitter & go to the goddamn cops. File a criminal report, don't post that shit on social media for likes & retweets. What on earth is wrong with this generation?

Posted

Getting publicity on social media tends to prompt authorities to do something more than just one person reporting and having it dismissed as a he-said she-said deal.

Considering that he got heat backstage for partying too much (maybe the actual guests also were factored in), and this is not the first time someone on twitter has a history of him being a douche, I don't see the implausibility of him actually doing what was described.

Also, regarding the "gtfo social media and go to the cops" point:
