Stiva Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 No idea if we're going to see Ronda but we are going to see COACH who is back on the announce team. The road to Wrestlemania and all its sign pointing has arrived. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 Holy shit, we are getting John Cena vs Finn Balor and Braun vs Kane LMS today Quote
sek69 Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 I don't know what got into WWE to decide they aren't fucking around this year, but I'm all for it. Quote
FMKK Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 You'd think Ronda has to be on TV tonight, though it's kinda up in the air as to how frequently she'll be appearing between now and Mania. Â I don't know why they got Coach back. I find Booker T's gibberish commentary entertaining tbh so I'm a bit disappointed he's gone. Quote
Jimmy Redman Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Sasha Banks, 1992-2018 R.I.P. Â She's not long for the world, it just depends on whether Asuka or the Elimination Chamber gets her first. Quote
Strummer Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Man Stephanie's character is so much better as the chief brand officer semi-face. Her heel act is beyond stale imo. I hope she keeps up the neutral type role but you know she's going back full heel. Â And Sasha already more comfortable on the mic acting heelish. That was a good confrontation with Asuka Quote
Strummer Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Btw, Bayley worked the main event tapings prior to Raw. She is free falling at this point Quote
FMKK Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Sasha going heel would really have been a chance to rehabilitate Bayley, especially if they worked turn angle with Trish, which is what I was hoping for in my head. Â Braun murdering Kane is great. Shouldve happened months ago Quote
Jimmy Redman Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Bayley just needs to stay employed long enough for the company to remember in a few years that she exists and start pushing her again and the crowd will respond because they'll be mad she was held down for so long and they'll portray it as a long fought struggle to the top. Like a Bryan or Benoit mega push. Quote
FMKK Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Matt is so shot, they need to just start doing the video gimmicks Quote
Jimmy Redman Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 WHAT IN THE JESUS FUCK. Â MY JAW DROPPED AT SASHA'S DEATH AND I STILL CAN'T CLOSE MY MOUTH. Â I was kidding about Sasha dying today and for a second I felt horrible that I'd somehow brought it on. What in the FUCKING FUCK. SHE IS DEAD. Â That was fucking awesome though and FUCK THAT CROWD for not reacting to it. I hate Raw. A million billion Sasha/Asuka matches please. Quote
WingedEagle Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 This has been one hell of a Raw. Miz/Reigns was another unsurprisingly very good match, even with a weak finish. Â Sasha/Asuka was pretty damn great even if that crowd didn't care until Sasha tried to die for our entertainment. A legit PPV quality match. Â And we've still got Cena/Finn to come. By the way, Finn needs to go heel ASAP. He's going to be awesome when that happens. Quote
Loss Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Yeah, if Sasha has nine lives, she used about four of them in the last few minutes of that match. Pretty crazy. Quote
Jimmy Redman Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Can we, like...pad the Elimination Chamber and put pillows and mattresses in for Sasha? Â Because apparently Sasha can't stop won't stop until she dies in the ring and the chamber seems like a pretty fuckin' likely place for it. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 This RAW has been absolute batshit insanity. From BRAUNNNN murdering people to Sasha and Asuka beating the shit out of each other to Titus Worldwide vs The Bar having a hot finishing stretch, just crazy fucking stuff. Quote
The Chief Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 I like building up a team for a quick TV program once in a while. Keeps things fresh. Good match too! Quote
...TG Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 3-4 nights in a row in the same building might be a mistake. This crowd is way burned out. Quote
Strummer Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Lots of good matches but kinda weird that a lot of the regulars weren't on  Jordan, Rollins, Alexa, Nia, Absolution, no cruiser weights Quote
KawadaSmile Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 amazing episode but my god imagine not paying attention to balor/cena Quote
The Chief Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 amazing episode but my god imagine not paying attention to balor/cena Yeah. Seems like they're planting the seeds for something a portion of the fan base has been requesting for years... Quote
FMKK Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Genuinely thought Sasha was going to die on that tope. Wild. Great to see her back to being awesome though. Her turning heel opens up so many programmes going forward, I just wish they could get back to what Smackdown managed to do about a year ago and have multiple women's programmes running. Quote
Zoo Enthusiast Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Great show. Glad those weeks and weeks of pre-Rumble TV are over and hopefully the shows can get down to more of this kind of business now. Definitely too bad the crowd sucked but I couldn’t imagine going to 15 hours of WWE shows over a few days and staying hyper-interested in what I am watching. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted January 30, 2018 Report Posted January 30, 2018 Apparently there is going to be something cooking between the Women's Division and Ronda Rousey, from what twitter indicates. Â They are mad because she is getting all the headlines while the wrestlers in the Rumble get zero recognition. Could be a good story. Quote
Stiva Posted January 30, 2018 Author Report Posted January 30, 2018 And in even more exciting news, apparently WWE has signed Jeremy Borash. Quote
