Tim Evans
NWO Robert Vaughn = perfection. Where WAS Scott Hall during this period, anyway? Rehab? Jail? He was having Marriage problems and they didn't trust him on live TV.
sek69
Was that Syxx promo the one that prompted that classic moment where Flair told him he had more championships than he (Syxx) had pieces of ass?
Johnny Sorrow
I still want a pair of tyedye pants like Pillman was sporting. I love the begining of Nitro. Al
Piper's interview and his babyface reaction at Tuesday Night Titans is tremendous. It's not what I'd call tremendously PC though, so your mileage may vary.

Tim Evans
The Badasses Legends roundtable was very good. I enjoyed it more than the Monday Night Wars one because Michael Hayes wasn't as annoying in this. I never thought I would see a Brody match on WWE TV. sek69
The new NWA episode has maybe the best jobber name ever: Benny "U-Haul" Trayler.
PeteF3
Well, this is probably a month or two old, but since I don't get 24/7 and have to rely on Youtube... Is Corporal Kirschner the lost worker of the '80s? His 5/86 MSG match with Nikolai Volkoff is stunningly good--best Volkoff match I've ever seen. It's not a legendary lost classic but it's better than some of the matches that made the DVDVR '80s set. Plus he pulled off that rising-from-the-dead trick a year or so ago. sek69
By the way, there's a great story in the Bad Asses roundtable where apparently Kurt Angle bought Tazz's gimmick 100% and was concered about if Tazz decided to shoot on him during their match. I have to wonder if this isn't the old "bury the opposition's champ" routine, I just can't imagine an Olympic level wrestler being that scared about the possibilty of a shoot. The daily "gifts" in the Shorties section have been pretty good too, however I have to wonder if Wendi Richter vs Lelani Kai from Wrestlemania I is *really* Mickie James' favorite match. If so, she may be the only person on Earth who'd say that. Rock vs Hogan was selected as one of the gifts, and IMO it's the perfect wrestling match. Yeah, MOOVZ-wise it may be lacking, but the whole point of wrestling is to engage the crowd and those two are the best in the history of the entire industry in that aspect. I don't know what more you could ask from a match than what they delivered there. No matter how many times you watch it, you find yourself getting into it. Also, I have no idea who Jack Korpela is (the description said he was an announcer, ECW maybe?), but he picked Hogan-Savage from WM 5 so he's ok in my book. JHawk
Korpela hosts the 24/7 free preview show as well as the PPV countdown shows, and also hosts the "History of the Intercontinental Championship" series on 24/7 online
sek69
Oh man, the new NWA episode up has the promo from Ric Flair that was the bulk of the famous "I can't help it" Youtube clip from a while back. You just can't ask for anything more than that. *edit* I found a link to the clip here:
sek69
Man, watching Maria intro her gift in the Shorties made me sad to see how far she's progressing to the typical hardened WWE diva look. I never thought I'd ever see "Black Saturday" on 24/7, so that's worth the price of admission. Also, there's a promotion running if you sign up for 24/7 before 1/15 you get the first 2 months free. JHawk
Missed that altogether. The biggest problem with Strongbow is there's not a lot of stuff to choose from outside of the Valentine series and his tag team title victories, and only one tag title match made the listing

Loss
Strongbow, from what I've seen, was pretty awesome. Admittedly, that's only the Valentine feud, and yes, he is a bit of a poor man's Wahoo, but look at all the poor man's versions of guys like Flair and Hogan and others that have had really great careers. Al
I'd note that this is a great forum for WWE in that they can showcase guys like Strongbow who wouldn't merit full dvds, but had some interesting career highlights.
Guest *FH*
Wow, how shitty regarding the "superstar debut" features. The teaser made it seem like we'd get things like Austin's first televised match in WCW (or maybe something from WCCW), Goldberg's first Nitro match, maybe a WCW Saturday Night match featuring Terra Ryzing...instead we get the "Raw Debut"~!~!~! of each person. That is very unimpressive.

Interesting concept, but it's no wonder Big Time Wrestling went out of business two years later.
