sek69
Time to watch the Big Dog give his family the gift of food on the table.
Tim Evans
I enjoyed smackdown this week. Reigns/Owens continues to rule and the finish was good heel stuff from the Big Dog. The main event was a feel-good moment with Big E and Corey graves shaking hands after the win. Not sure I get Bianca losing to both Bayley and Charlotte in back to back weeks but it's whatever. KawadaSmile
Hey so Smackdown had 4 million viewers in hour 1. Roman is the guy
NintendoLogic
More like Drew Brees is the guy since Smackdown had the benefit of the NFL lead-in. At least WWE had the good sense to not try to win over normies and lapsed fans with middle-aged dad bod Jericho. Then again, Kevin Owens isn't much better. Like, they had the benefit of the NFL game, but people stayed around regardless, making the bump mean something? Or am I understanding things wrong? Burgundy LaRue
The number to look at is Hour 2, at 2.574 million. That's about 20% higher than normal over recent weeks. So at least some NFL fans stuck around beyond forgetting to change the channel. Having the NFL lead-in was huge. But Smackdown took full advantage of it. They made sure that Roman was the first person we saw, title in hand and looking great. KO has a 'dad bod' but unlike Jericho, he covers up with a shirt and has tremendous cardio. And they didn't try to sell him as some flawless figure, but rather a scrappy underdog who won't go away. We'll see if Smackdown can retain any of it, but popping a number like this even once is good stuff for wrestling these days.
MoS
If I had the book, I would continue putting over Roman and Big E really strong and then have a champ v. Champ match at WM where Big E becomes champ champ
Mad Dog
I feel like the WWE took a rightful beating for their handling of COVID. They have been a bastion of responsibility compared to the NFL and it needs to be said.

rovert
His WWF name was Joe Bevins brought in for the October/November 1992 tapings He's a broadcaster to this day his Twitter is @joeaiellowpg. It was mostly a lark for him and is still a fan of Pro Wrestling and is tight with Don Callis.
SirEdger
Wait a minute....did Joe Aiello not work for GWF back in the day? Now that I see this name, it seems familiar and I think he might've worked for them.
