strobogo Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Hell yeah finally Motorhead and Limp Bizkit have competition for worst WM performance Quote
C.S. Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 No one who has gotten a live performance for their entrance has ever won at WrestleMania. We'll see if Rhea breaks that streak. Quote

Matt D Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 I'm not emotionally invested in this match like last night's main event (I think I've seen 1-2 Rhea matches ever?) and I'm definitely not emotionally invested in watching Edge. So I'll be half here as we watched the Pennyworth season finale that dropped today. Quote
Migs Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Kevin Dunn - millions of a camera cuts, but can't cut away from the maskless idiots in the crowd fast enough. Quote

strobogo Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 I'm just gonna say that was about the snuggest looking back slide I've seen since the 70s Quote
PhilTLL Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 I didn't think Bianca Belair getting emotional at the beginning was a huge detriment last night, but these two have absolutely none of those issues. This is focused and peppy so far. Quote

Me neither. It doesn't help that Rhea is perpetually in second place. In second place to Charlotte last year. In second place in NXT for the rest of the year and cooled off to the point where she was the 4th string of a team led by Shotzi. In second place to Bianca in the Royal Rumble. In second place now as Charlotte's replacement in this match. Maybe she'll win tonight, maybe she won't, but her win won't feel as dramatic and epic as Bianca's because the push and build haven't been there. Just my opinion. Unlike 35, Charlotte would've added a lot to this as the connective tissue. Quote

Think of how many matches Ric Flair got all weepy eyed before, during, or after after 1997 or so. It's not like it was a crazy blood feud. Quote
strobogo Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 They're out here pulling out UWFI spots Quote
Matt D Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Fun counter-heavy stuff here. I liked Rhea selling the ankle and then seamlessly turning the motion into paintbrushing Asuka. Quote
PhilTLL Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Rhea's expressions are off the charts. Quote
strobogo Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 This doesn't have the emotional engagement with the crowd Sasha/Bianca had, but this is also really good. Quote

Yeah that added to the match for me. Quote
PhilTLL Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 I said I *didn't* think it was a huge detriment! That last spot was fucking insane obviously. Quote
Jmare007 Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 From match 3 on, every match has had at least 1 insane bump. Quote
El Dragon Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 Crowds quiet as shit but this has been a war. Quote
strobogo Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 I think it's kind of neat how Rhea and Bianca both do this big power spots but in completely different ways from each other yet equally displaying their strength. Quote

Because Asuka has spent months not being used, and no one cares about Rhea after a year of being cooled down and then rushed into this match as a last-minute replacement. Quote
