Punk has been nothing short of exceptional in 2022. From his matches I have the utmost faith he will make the most with the dog collar match.

Tremendous stuff from Punk as usual. Bret never did a dog collar match, so curious to see what his Bret tribute spot will be this time. Hope good brother NintendoLogic will be keeping watch

I was at the ROH show where Punk had a dog collar match with Jimmy Rave. It was pretty great if I recall.

He is the one who benefits the most in AEW's format. Less stilted verbiage, more spontaneity.

Yup. He has a rambling style of talking that isn't suited for scripted promos but he is so compelling when he talks that he nails it in a way someone like Cody was completely failing to do recently.

I keep saying this but the best formula for Dynamite is giving Punk and Dragon the first 40 minutes of TV time and the show will always be worth a watch.

Was surprised at a Cody reference 10 minutes in, but that's why AEW is great - Excalibur's not going to forget who was in the other dog collar match just because a guy left.

Really curious to get into the mind of Adam Cole and wonder what he thinks is a money drawing main event title match program

There's no reason why that angle couldn't have been done while cutting Cole's speaking time by half. He went there and rambled about friendship and respect, and this was bad rambling. Beginning to think early NXT Cole might actually be his best version
