  1. Looking at that PWI 500. J.R. Ryder, J.T. Lightning, J.P. Hogg, J.B. Jammer, J.B. Destiny, J.T. Coleminer, J.C. Ice.....
  2. I listened to the first episode and it’s a lot like other “history” podcasts I’ve heard. You think you’re getting in depth discussion of a topic of interest but you’re really getting 3-4 comedians skimming a Wikipedia article.
  3. Second (?) generation as well, her grandfather was Tony "Battman" Marino.
  4. The artwork shows up well in a thumbnail. Most YouTube thumbnails are incredibly cringe anyway.
  5. I think Austin Idol was a Graham clone and Paul Ellering as a wrestler absolutely was.
  6. I think all the stories are out there. Certainly Grizzly Smith, Sweetan, Murdoch's little adventure, etc. The interesting thing is the reaction. To Ross it's an indication of the people you have to deal with to get in the business and not a clue that you're in the wrong business, but that's tough to figure out when you're in your 20s and breaking into the business world. Conrad wonders if word got around among promoters about these sleezebags and all I can think is, "you naive fool."
  7. What's really impressive about '50s Thesz is the sheer output. Lou in 1950 looking at wrestlingdata.com has documented matches against 84 different opponents. That's going to a different city in every night to boot. It's an insane schedule and whereas wrestlers in the '80s were often working the same opponent around the circuit, Lou has to adjust almost every time out. it's no wonder a lot of wrestlers following up had trouble keeping up with that schedule.
  8. There’s a live show at the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art tomorrow to promote the release of Ringmaster. https://www.instagram.com/p/CsLpcM9OnyK/?igshid=MTIyMzRjYmRlZg==
  9. 253 individual donations seems like an impressive amount. That's quite an outpouring of support.
  10. The problem is the source is the same. Abdullah and his handlers. I don’t doubt that Abby is poor or destitute. I just have a hard time believing he lost a big lawsuit out of pure ignorance.
  11. Phil Schneider had Gringo on his Blade podcast. American who made his name as a luchador. His nickname is the "Base God," so you can imagine how that works with Vikingo.
  12. My dad saw Superstar Graham on the 700 Club and remembered it as “Gorgeous George.” I have older co-workers who remember Andre, Chief Jay, Fuji, Tanaka and that crew that worked the Scranton CYC.
  13. Ole's shoot name is Alan Rogowski so I'd bet it's just Ole and Gene.
  14. If your criteria weighs depth heavily. Their 5-10 is probably better than any other family’s.
  15. Does Moolah's autobiography count?
  16. I wonder if this is the same issue Roxanne Perez is dealing with?

    Nicole would be fantastic.
  18. Luckily he'll have the knowledge he gleaned from Memphis 1987 to guide him.
  19. Co-sign. Last ten minutes should look like Bob Roop stretching some blown up civilian in the snake pit.
  20. In fairness I’m sure dying then wasn’t Groucho’s idea.
  21. A google search on the address suggests he's now 50. Bizarre approach but not the most terrible thing.

At this point, is anyone switching companies really a bad thing?
  23. Depends how much of the business was run by his wife. Mind you, I'm not terribly sold on his tale of woe either.

Ow, My Balls would be a step up. More self awareness, less CTE and less chance of procreation.
  25. I appreciate that after all that they managed to throw in an Irish stereotype for good measure.
