    I didn't really think this was a great match, mainly because modern WWE brawls always feel like they're missing some of the violent elements. Using the steps as a weapon is a little cliche. That said, this was laid out immaculately with nice drama over the 10-count, and Del Rio getting the upset title win was a genuinely great moment. I don't think there's anything really wrong with Del Rio, but he has always struck me as a guy who is overpushed relative to his popularity.

    I also find it interesting that they aren't bleeping "wop" from the old WWF segments. Is it possibly a generational thing, where interns don't know that it's a racial slur because it's not used very often anymore?

    Watching some of this old stuff ... Not that I think the announcing today is anything good, but no wonder Vince felt it was time to move on from Jim Ross. The near constant screaming at the top of his lungs sounds awful and can get really annoying.
