  1. There is a cult that follows a certain ex-president like he's a god that uses that song, CCR's "Fortunate Son", and Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" without a hint of irony.
  2. When I was ring announcing I worked a ton of shows with Beastman, and he has evolved into a very fun worker. He does a nice mix of Kamala style antics, Brody style brawling, and modern big man indy spots. Even Cornette enjoyed his gimmick at a show they were both on which was very surprising. If nothing else, it certainly beats his old Bulldozer gimmick....

Well, maybe we've all been worked

That commercial was probably already done. They already announced the match was off on Twitter.

Looks like MJF may have visited the juice bar during his time away.
  6. If Sammy is smiling after his match with Walter in PWG, I doubt he was crying from a match with Andrade.
  7. I'd pay good money to hear Tony Khan try and book a finish to a Jericho/Low Ki match that satisfied everyone involved.
  8. So glad we got in our weekly Eddie tribute spot. That suplex was nuts though. This should probably get Bandido a spot, just don't let him book talent.
  9. 100% If she is going to act like a bad ass, and people are going to have to beg off from her, but she can't get physical... What the hell is the point? She sucks on commentary. They don't need an authority figure. Just a huge waste of time.
  10. Well, that was fucking painful.
  11. This show certainly started slow and has tapered off from there.
  12. I'd still argue that the music change was a mistake. The Dvorak piece was perfect. It had a menacing quality that fit him and the group, and it was something the fans could sing along too. I understand they probably did it since they don't own it, but that new track doesn't have the same effect.
  13. I'm in my 40's. If it came out after 1998, I am fucking clueless.
  14. Who in the hell is Trina?
  15. My mistake.
  16. Rice and Dukes should definitely be in, since Rice was winning titles in 1987, and was teaming with Dukes by 1988. Sbraccia is an interesting case as he technically did debut in 1984, but was only 14 years old. He wrestled his first match at 16 in 1986, so I guess technically he would turn 18 at some point in 1988, but I don't really see him leaving New England until he finishes high school.
  17. When you have a roster that size, the fact that they are spending that much time on him, a guy who isn't cleared to wrestle, and a green giant instead of one of the other men or women far more deserving of TV time, I would call that too much of a push no matter the outcome of his matches.
  18. Even if you discount the allegations of him being a piece of shit who got women fired from Ring of Honor because they wouldn't fuck him.... He is a bland, cookie cutter wrestler who only ever became relevant because he did a half decent Randy Savage impression, and somehow parlayed that into a career where he became the "Ace" of RoH long after that company meant a damn thing. He is a decent hand at best who doesn't deserve the level of push he has gotten.
  19. From that never ending segment to Jay Lethal. This show is off to a shit start.
  20. Oh Good. Another Cornette face t-shirt dipshit sitting front row center on the hard camera side with stupid signs.
  21. That listing has to be a mistake. He would have only been 13 in 1988. Probably supposed to be 1998.
  22. Natalya has been using the Sharpshooter for at least 15 years, if not longer, and it still looks like she has no fucking idea how to apply it every time she uses it.
  23. I knew something caused business to pick up.
  24. Was J.R. suspended? Because it's been lovely not having him on commentary.
  25. A case of sarcasm not being detectable on the internet. Even if he'd lost in 3 seconds, I don't feel that losing a staged wrestling match is "punishment" for anything.
