Well, that segment was stupid and pointless, but at least it wasn't them inserting Jericho in the Mox/Tanahashi match so neither of them would have to do the job, like I feared it was going to be.

That's been my biggest issue with AEW. They do a great job building people up for title wins, then they do nothing in their reigns. Thunder Rosa, Jurassic Express, Lucha Brothers, etc.

If they are going to be the company with a shit ton of belts, I wish they'd get the RoH and AAA belts off TV, and just make a secondary tag title. Fuck it, bring in Trios Titles too. I really hope the Owen titles disappear sooner than later.

This has been a pretty great Dynamite so far. Opener was decent, Hangman/Takeshita was excellent, Punk wearing that shirt in Texas made me like the guy even more, tag was decent, Wardlow segment did what it needed to do, and Fenix/O'Reilly over delivered. If we get some good Regal lines out of this, and the women's joker isn't a dud, I think this one will definitely rank up there.

It baffles me that Jay Lethal is still somehow employed, given a push, and thought of as a good worker in some circles all because he did a serviceable Macho Man impression 16 years ago. Sure, he is passable, but my god is he the definition of bland. Why he is feuding with Joe, and going over Takeshita and taking up valuable TV time when the roster is already overloaded, I will never understand.

I mean, Julia Hart is a very attractive young lady (respectfully or whatever we say around here) and there certainly has to be a better role for her in this company than hanging out with the Blondes. But holy shit, this angle around her eye did not and does not require this much build! Either put her with HoB or don't.

I can't see them cutting Silver, Anna Jay, or Preston Vance. But at this point I would say the rest of them are all quite expendable. If we are being honest, there probably only still a thing cause breaking them up post-Brodie has a bad look to it.
