  1. If they move him to the main roster, all they have to do is put him with Walter again. Once he starts getting the ever loving shit beaten out of him and keeps coming back for more, he'll be over enough in the Daniel Bryan/Spike Dudley/Darby Allin way. He also has a compelling real life backstory and those never hurt if they are incorporated well.
  2. Storm/Shida was a lot of fun tonight. It's a shame that Shida has been mostly phased out because the crowd seems to still want to cheer for her, and she still has a ton to offer.
  3. I certainly hope emergency personnel were standing by to raise the door so that he didn't have to receive minor scrapes to his back crawling out from under it.
  4. It never fails to amaze me that almost every week on this show, some dipshit has paid good money to sit in one of the first few rows on the hard camera side and do nothing but pay attention to when they are on camera so they can hold up a Cornette sign and look disinterested in everything else happening.
  5. Renee looks incredible. Glad to have her on board. Of all the Canadians to bring out, Shawn Spears? Yikes. I think Aldo Montoya would have gotten a bigger pop in Portugal.
  6. There is a cult that follows a certain ex-president like he's a god that uses that song, CCR's "Fortunate Son", and Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" without a hint of irony.
  7. When I was ring announcing I worked a ton of shows with Beastman, and he has evolved into a very fun worker. He does a nice mix of Kamala style antics, Brody style brawling, and modern big man indy spots. Even Cornette enjoyed his gimmick at a show they were both on which was very surprising. If nothing else, it certainly beats his old Bulldozer gimmick....

Well, maybe we've all been worked

That commercial was probably already done. They already announced the match was off on Twitter.

Looks like MJF may have visited the juice bar during his time away.
  11. If Sammy is smiling after his match with Walter in PWG, I doubt he was crying from a match with Andrade.
  12. I'd pay good money to hear Tony Khan try and book a finish to a Jericho/Low Ki match that satisfied everyone involved.
  13. So glad we got in our weekly Eddie tribute spot. That suplex was nuts though. This should probably get Bandido a spot, just don't let him book talent.
  14. 100% If she is going to act like a bad ass, and people are going to have to beg off from her, but she can't get physical... What the hell is the point? She sucks on commentary. They don't need an authority figure. Just a huge waste of time.
  15. Well, that was fucking painful.
  16. This show certainly started slow and has tapered off from there.
  17. I'd still argue that the music change was a mistake. The Dvorak piece was perfect. It had a menacing quality that fit him and the group, and it was something the fans could sing along too. I understand they probably did it since they don't own it, but that new track doesn't have the same effect.
  18. I'm in my 40's. If it came out after 1998, I am fucking clueless.
  19. Who in the hell is Trina?
  20. My mistake.
  21. Rice and Dukes should definitely be in, since Rice was winning titles in 1987, and was teaming with Dukes by 1988. Sbraccia is an interesting case as he technically did debut in 1984, but was only 14 years old. He wrestled his first match at 16 in 1986, so I guess technically he would turn 18 at some point in 1988, but I don't really see him leaving New England until he finishes high school.
  22. When you have a roster that size, the fact that they are spending that much time on him, a guy who isn't cleared to wrestle, and a green giant instead of one of the other men or women far more deserving of TV time, I would call that too much of a push no matter the outcome of his matches.
  23. Even if you discount the allegations of him being a piece of shit who got women fired from Ring of Honor because they wouldn't fuck him.... He is a bland, cookie cutter wrestler who only ever became relevant because he did a half decent Randy Savage impression, and somehow parlayed that into a career where he became the "Ace" of RoH long after that company meant a damn thing. He is a decent hand at best who doesn't deserve the level of push he has gotten.
  24. From that never ending segment to Jay Lethal. This show is off to a shit start.
  25. Oh Good. Another Cornette face t-shirt dipshit sitting front row center on the hard camera side with stupid signs.
