  1. We are all stuck on Bron Breakker, but I think Von Wagoner for Cal Bloom is equally as stupid.
  2. But guys, it's like Bone Breaker! Such Good Shit.....
  3. I will point to the Public Enemy vs Harlem Heat match at Uncensored 1997 as the perfect example of this. More than once when I've been in a bad mood, I have put that match on, and Dusty absolutely losing his shit laughing at the garbage spots in the ring, while Heenan snidely mocks WCW and the match, while Tony tries in vain to hold the whole thing together while trying (and failing) not to laugh himself, NEVER fails to bring a smile to my face. "HE HIT HIM WIT' A COMMODE LID!"
  4. Brian Cage has never come close to being near as entertaining a Mike Awesome.
  5. Just because The Rock is too big for them, they already shot their Cena load, and Austin, Foley, Undertaker, Kane, Hogan, Hall, Nash, Michaels, and Goldberg have been done to death doesn't mean anything! Just look at Edge! There has to be some other relic from the late 90's or early 2000's that they can dust off and try to push as relevant. What's Heidenreich doing these days?
  6. I just need to know if the "Cardiac Event" was taken care of at a "Local Medical Facility"
  7. Hayter seems either awkward or overly stiff.
  8. If Corbin showed up in AEW, It would damage the good will the fans have toward the promotion. So far they have avoided doing that, and the people trust them to make the right decision. If they bring in a Bray Wyatt, who the fans generally like, and it doesn't work, that good will may give them a pass. But you bring in a Corbin or Jinder Mahal, or someone with Go Away heat, and they are going to lose that good will. You may like Corbin, and he may not be as bad as everyone makes him out to be. But Corbin in AEW absolutely wouldn't work. Unless he went and performed miracles in New Japan first or something.
  9. An ideal scenario for Gulak would be if folks like Walter, Thatcher, Oney, and Burch were to leave and they formed some kind of grappley, Ring Kampf'esque stable where he could be part of a tag team or a heater for the stable leader.
  10. The guys I mentioned were Tozawa, Cedric, Gulak, Mustafa Ali, and Ricochet. Gulak has enough friends in the company that I think he would be hired. He is a very skilled wrestler, and I think he could make a nice mid card hand for them. Not calling for him to be a main eventer or anything. Tozawa is the exact same as Gulak, though I think he has a higher window. The dude is charismatic as hell and talented as fuck. If you don't treat him like a joke, and let him do what he can do, the fans will come around. Just don't try and start him at the top. Let him win the fans over by not doing stupid shit. As for Ricochet, Mustafa Ali, and Cedric Alexander... I think they would all get the "Man these guys were so held down in WWE, look at them excel here in AEW" pass. Again, I'm not saying any of them are on the level of Punk or Danielson, but I think they are all potential and reasonable pick ups for the company. I was also pushing for Keith Lee, and I don't care what WWE has done to him. You let Keith Lee come in and be Keith Lee to the full extent of his talent, and you have another main eventer on your hands. But the dudes clock is ticking at his age and size.
  11. Apart from Owens and Sami... I think they'd take Cesaro in a heartbeat. Keith Lee if he became available. Finn Balor would probably fit with all the Elite/Bullet Club folks, as would AJ Styles. Guys like Tozawa, Cedric, Gulak, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, and several from NXT would probably find a place on the lower card as well. But those would more likely come from releases than poaching. I agree with @KawadaSmile that Liv Morgan could certainly find new life in the women's division, as could Mia Yim. As for a big name steal, I think Asuka/Kana would be a huge get for them.
  12. Still with the hatred on PAC. Who has been nothing but enjoyable and good for the company apart from some travel issues. Totally agree with Spears and Hager being worthless though, and totally agree that Christian has been good for the company.
  13. They need to have the 3rd FTR/Santana & Ortiz match take up the whole hour of Rampage some week like Crockett used to do once in a while.
  14. Unfortunately there are a whole lot of insane people these days. I work for a hospital that just mandated employees get vaccinated by October 31st, and nurses literally took to the streets to protest the mandate this past weekend.
  15. The solution is obviously another Draft.....
  16. I truly don't understand why Shida went from Honorable Champion who carried the pandemic era to..... never mentioned again outside of the YouTube shows as soon as they took the title off of her. Conti seemed to be getting a big build up, and then all of a sudden.... YouTube shows. I know Deeb is hurt. and I assume they are trying to postpone Britt/Rosa feuding again. But the division seems to have died the moment Britt won the title, which should have been a huge moment for it.
  17. Because Paul Wight is going to be on commentary! Doesn't that make you more excited? ........ Yeah, me either....
  18. I assume Matt Hardy is the first guy to go back, so he can finish his career with his brother.
  19. Unless they align her with Rollins, this fails miserably. If they align her with Rollins, it probably still fails miserably, and kills her momentum.
  20. Add me to the Cult Leader Wyatt over Fiend Wyatt camp ten times out of ten. The original theme, the crowd singing "whole world in his hands", Harper and Rowan, Follow the Buzzards.... I found every bit of that far more entertaining than anything that ever happened with The Fiend. Cult Leader Wyatt had so much potential if they'd gone a more Charles Manson/Jim Jones route with it and left the supernatural nonsense alone.
  21. Wow, that Cena haircut looks terrible.
  22. Well this "epic" is making me long for the Bianca/Becky match.....
  23. The new IC and US Titles are really ugly.
  24. Actually, I don't think it is. I had Smackdown on last night, and my wife who doesn't like wrestling happened to be paying attention during the Corbin stuff and her first question was "Are they making fun of poor people?"
