Ted will do good on my ballot. He really is a versatile wrestler. On the Houston footage he's looked great doing a variety of stuff. He's had a lot of strong matches throughout his career. He could work singles or be just as effective in a tag team. One of the most underrated tag workers around. He's been part of really great teams especially in Mid-South. Owns one of the best fist drops around.

Ted Dibiase/Matt Borne vs JYD/Mr. Wrestling 2 2/25/83 I thought this was tremendous. Ted is bumping big for the Dog. Borne takes this awesome looking bump through the ropes. I'm sure he learned this from Rose since it was a signature bump of Buddy's. The shine here is so good. Both JYD and Mr. Wrestling 2 have tons of charisma. On top of it the heels are doing some grade A stooging. Finally they cut off 2 and get some good heat on him. The crowd is totally behind 2. Dibiase and Borne come across as a top level team. They build to a chaotic finish. 3 3/4*

As shoe knows, I would never try to ruin a match Plus I am going to be chanting for CM Punk. Just not during the AJ Styles match.
-
Yes. I thought Ospreay's selling was terrible in the match, and didn't like the structure of the Webster match.

Bruce I started adding potential dates to your list.

This was interesting. JYD is over huge here. I was shocked to see him mat wrestle. Actually all 4 were over and because of that they could keep the crowd with them. Anvil and Studd did a lot of face locks and bear hugs here. I thought Duggan brought fire here. Even with the un interesting heat sgment, the crowd exploded at the hot tag. I thought at the finish everyone worked hard and executed it. Post match Studd and the Anvil have a fight. 2 1/4*

2/10/16 aired LU LLSM KIng Cuerno vs El Fenix 4 1/4* Man I really enjoyed this. I think I liked this more than most. I loved both guys in this for completely different reasons. Cuerno treated this like a street fight and just brought it to Fenix. Cuerno brought the hate. To counter the brawling Fenix used some awesome highspots to get back into the match. To counter Fenix's finesse,,Cuerno hits his stiff Hunter's bow tope'. They build to this incredible ladder spot finish. It was straight out of a cartoon. 4 1/4*

1/24/16 Progress Zach Gibson vs Mark Haskins 4 1/4* We some back and forth on the mat early. I really liked Haskins fire throughout this match. I loved Gibson's shoulder seperator. Gibson follows up and posts it. Gibson is really great at working the arm. He mixed in unique arm work, along with some basic arm work. Haskin's comeback is of course full of fire. We get some really credible nearfalls . Haskin's fucks up Gibson's leg with some wicked kicks. This pays off in the finish. Gibson with a dropkick that is picked and turned into a ankle lock. To stop the momentum Gibson went back to the arm. Then we get this amazing sequence with cross arm bars and the like. Their was some finishing spam here which hurt the match a bit for me. Part of me liked the Haskins winning with the stretch Muffler. It paid off on the leg work, but didn't like that Haskins had to put extra torque on it with his worked over arm. Still this match told a great story with some really strong limb work from both guys.

I unplugged and repligged my headset into another Jack and it quit recording at that point. Totally my fault.

Ted Dibiase vs Hacksaw Duggan LLT cage match This is pretty great. This is such a great feud. We start out with Ted stomping a mud hole into Duggan. Dibiase misses a charge into the corner and Duggan starts his comeback. The ring ropes breaks and Duggan uses it as a weapon. Dibiase returns the favor and beats Duggan down with the ring ropes. Dibiase is so great here at getting heat. He uses his punches so spot on here. He makes them mean so much. Loving how Ted works the cut. Ted has really one of the best fist drops ever. Duggan's come back is huge. The crowd is with him something fierce. Now Ted's bleeding. In a last second act of desperation, Ted loads the glove. Duggan gets the load and KO's Ted. 4*

Street vs McCord This was an extended squash, but boy was this fun. A total showcase for Street. We see him plant a kiss on McCord and then just work every body part. He worked the leg, arm, manipulated joints. He used nasty knees, and elbows. He just treated McCord like he owes Street a lot of money. McCord got a flash of offense in and the crowd erupts. Street wins though with a leg grapevine pin. Fun stuff and worth watching.

It's on par or maybe slightly better than AJ's farewell ROH show in Georgia.
