Doc/Kamala vs Butch Reed/King Parsons The match told a story. The problem I had was the guys were content to sit in rest holds until it was time to start working spots. The match started out with a spriritted brawling. It settles down and Butch owns Doc and Kamala to start.I really loved Reed's arm pit punches. Parson's in with a standing headbutt to Doc's arm.Parson's was guilty of using the armbar to sit, but would work spots around it. Butch is in and is still working the arm. So we got a lot of that throughout the match. Eventuall we build to the finish. 2 1/4*

Duggan vs Kamala This has a real fun stip. Akbar is cuffed to the corner post.Another rule is if Duggan gets by Kamala he can do what he wants to Akbar. Pretty much this is all story driven and crowd psychology. So the match does what it needs to do. Early on Duggan gets by Kamala and hits Akbar. Duggan tries it a couple more times, but is stuffed. Kamala gets heat on Duggan by using Akbar's riding crop. Duggan sells and when Kamala gets the powder from Akbar, Duggan kicks it right in Kamala's face. Duggan then gives Kamala the spear to the outside. At this point the crowd is going nuts because they think Duggan is going to get his revenge but Kamala recovers and 1/2 of the Zambouie Express destroy Duggan.

I thought the final segment of episode 2 was pretty great.

Jake vs Slater This is a famous feud and I always thought it was one of Jakes. Early in the match we see Jake teasing the DDT, and then again. The crowd was so hot for this. I also like how Jake is keeping an eye out for Journey outside the ring. Jahe threw a nasty elbow and followed up with a big knee lift. Crowd is chanting DDT. The shine was pretty solid and effective. The ref blocks a Jake punch which sets up the heat. During the heat I enjoyed Jake's fire. Slater was good in giving Jake openings only to cut him off. Slater comes off the top and Jake nails a lariat. Jake misses a big knee lift, and Slater puts him in a sleeper. Slater counters another DDT. He has a foreign object, but Jake finally nails the DDT to a huge pop. The ref though DQ's Slater. This was pretty good with both the heat and shine being effective. The crowd was into it. 3 1/4*

Mixed tag match. This is a mixed midget match. It had some real fun moments in it. I thought the Kamata/Willie stuff was the highlight of the match.

Sweet, I've always been a fan of their feud.

The Georgia show with AJ's goodbye , and Gallows and Anderson last show was a really good card top to bottom.
-
Glad to see Andy Dalton on the card. One of my favorite guys who work Texas a lot.

I like the Patterson to HHH comparison .

1/1/16 CMLL Kamaitachi vs Maximo Hair vs Hair 4 1/2* Man this was really good. The 1st fall was all Kamaitachi. He starts with a low level drop kick. Then begins working the leg.Loving Kamaitachi playing with his hair to get over the stip. Maximo gets in a chop to try to get some seperation from the leg work. It would be for not. An awesome Dragon Screw followed by a Figure Four for the 1st fall. The 2nd caida and Kamaitachi is right back on the leg. His limb work has been really good here. On top of that Maximo's selling has been great. Maximo's steals the fall with a 1/2 crab. The 3rd caida and we see Kamaitachi go back to work on the leg. Maximo is putting over the leg work. Big back Senton to the floor by Kamaitachi. Again he's focusing the attack on the leg. Maximo gets a great flash pin. We see Maximo hit 3 dives, but they are staggered apart because he was selling the leg. Maximo hits a rana off the top. Maximo is making it look like it's taking very ounce of strength to move. We get a run of nearfalls. Kamaitachi teases that he was fouled. Then rolls him up for a super heated near fall. Maximo returns the favor, then we get the deciding fall. 4 1/2*

If you have listings that we don't I'd really appreciate a link if you can ?

They just dropped a Funk vs Lewin match on nwaclassics.com that I gave 4 3/4* stars to. It's a match from 78-80. Even without the NWA belt it shows him work NWA touring champ in a way.

Crowd looks different.
-
Taylor from the board sourced it. I think he might be wrong too.
-
Taylor from the board has sourced it as 12/12/80
