Wow that's awesome. Gagne vs Hennig has been available JIP and a very brief clip of nord vs soldat too but none of the rest I believe. Amazing.

I thought we had more, but maybe I'm thinking of the raw footage. Sounds really sweet

Martel vs Garvin I believe is out there at least in part. Some of The other matches have raw footage clips available from them and news clips, but not whole or partial ones shot for tv. Awesome

    You know it!

The main event and bits of Martel vs Graham are out there, the rest is not, save for a few highlights from the news. Awesome

Curt Hennig refereed the 1982 bout that is already available on video. I doubt he reffed the 1981 bout as well, so that is likely the tell for which year we are looking at. You are likely correct about only Bock vs. Billy being available before now although the Raschke-Goulet match may be the exception. There are a couple of their bouts out there and if they were dated wrong it could already have been released. But I would guess it too is likely new.

The 1987 match is new as far as I can remember. the title change occurred in haste at the Vegas show which was a couple of nights later. The cage match and the whole Brawl in St. Paul show from 1986 Christmas have appeared on either 24/7 or the Network before.

That match is unseen as far as I know. Robinson vs. Bockwinkel from Christmas 1981 has been available for a long time. I'd have to see the card to know what else may already be out there.

Backstory to that match is the High Flyers are doing Wally Karbo a favor as the team he had lined up for them to wrestle that night cancelled in advance, so he asked them to wrestle the Sheiks in a non title match (Sheiks had just formed a short time previous). The Chicago version of this angle actually ran a few months later in early 1982. The same teams battled Christmas night in 1982 as well. This was a looooong feud, and it drew really well.
  10. RIP to a very underappreciated wrestler. Had some wwwf title bouts vs Pedro that I hope turn up on the network someday. Larry Hennig and Harley Race had a magnificent tag team in the AWA way back when...only footage that exists of them is when they reunited for a real world tag tourney in Japan in iirc 1981. The old timers I know speak more than fondly of them.

When the team challenge aired originally on AWA tv, I may have been the only person in North America actually trying to keep track of it...and I failed miserably. Never mind anyone trying to pick it up on the fly. Lol.

    Home video pilot? Intriguing.
  13. I'd guess it's from 1983. They did clash in Winnipeg in 83. It could be their thanksgiving St. Paul match too, until now it was only available via raw footage. ill bet Winnipeg for now. gotch and goulet may be tag champs there...they did hold the belts briefly in that time frame.

  15. Agreed about Race there. No way he avoids Brody...or anyone else for that matter.

  21. Wrestling Eye was an incredible change of pace magazine wise when it came out, for those of us that didnt know the Observer existed at the time (and there were plenty of us I'm sure).
  22. Dave doubling down on Sunshine looking like a tramp is interesting. Secret crush perhaps? Lol
  23. Garvin vs Adams (and their valets being involved like that) being that big in St. Louis of all places seems like a stretch to me. But who knows I suppose...
  24. Wiz was a talker. I'm sure you've just missed his promos until now.
  25. As stupid as it sounds maybe Sharpe didn't want to job in his "hometown" (maybe his real home town, I dunno) of Hamilton. Lol
